This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 💚

Led by the Mental Health Foundation, this year’s theme, Take Action, is a powerful reminder that mental health matters every single day — not only in moments of crisis, but in the small everyday choices that support our wellbeing over time.

At The Heart of Holistic Health, we believe mental wellbeing is deeply connected to the whole person — mind, body, emotions, stress levels, lifestyle, connection, and nervous system health.

Sometimes taking action looks like:
✨ Asking for support
✨ Resting without guilt
✨ Talking openly about how you feel
✨ Slowing down and listening to your body
✨ Checking in on someone else
✨ Prioritising your wellbeing before burnout

Small actions truly can create meaningful change.

Throughout this week, we’ll be sharing supportive wellbeing tips, reflections, and gentle reminders to encourage more compassionate conversations around mental health and holistic wellbeing.

Rainbow, Chickpea & Beetroot salad - this recipe would serve 3-4 people as a main, I added chicken on the side to increase my protein , you can use any protein/ substitute, if used as a side you would get 6-10 portions, great addition for a BBQ, enjoy !!

Spices Baked Nuts - this is a mild recipe, spice it up to your taste !!

Teriyaki fish bowl - you can use any protein/ protein substitute, it’s easy to make, prep all the ingredients, make your marinade, 30 mins and it’s done, it does taste good !! (Full recipe at the end of the reel)
