We’re still celebrating the fantastic achievements of our Sidcup Monday class, who achieved amazing results in their Preparatory Ballet and Preparatory Tap examinations 💛

Their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm throughout the term really paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they achieved. 🌟

It was wonderful to present their certificates and celebrate their success together 🎓✨

Now it’s time for the next stage of their dance journey as we move on to new steps, new exercises and exciting new challenges in both Ballet and Tap 🩰🎀

This is an incredible experience to perform on a large stage, build confidence and be part of something truly special 💃

(And by coincidence, our very first performance was 16 years ago this week — such a special milestone! 💛)

Senior Dance Training – Sidcup

Our Senior Dance Training class is perfect for older students looking to continue developing their dance skills in a focused and supportive environment.

Held at Holy Trinity, Sidcup, this class is ideal for pupils taking Dance at GCSE or A Level, as it explores a range of styles including commercial and musical theatre, alongside choreography, technique and performance combinations. It’s a great way to build confidence, versatility and performance quality.

We are currently welcoming students back following our recent exam session — a great time to join and start fresh with new work.

Alongside this, we also offer:
• Grade 4 Ballet
• Grade 3 Tap
• Commercial Street Dance
at our Kidbrooke venue.

Dance has the power to bring people together, build confidence, and create joy at every age. 💛

As part of the Let’s Dance nationwide initiative, The Dance School will be opening our doors to the community during the week commencing 9th March.

💃 FREE classes for new dancers
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Mums, Dads, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends are all welcome to join a class and give dance a try!
✨ Current pupils are also welcome to try a different class during the week.

🕓 All classes from 4:30pm onwards included
(Excludes after school clubs)

Let’s celebrate dance and get everyone moving!

Classes will be themed with fun “Let’s dance” inspired playlist.

Jumping on this one… maybe a little late to the party 🥳 but what a year it was!

From our production “Cirque du Dance”, to being selected to dance in Trafalgar Square for the Patrons’ Lunch, and of course lots of fun in classes 💃🕺

We can’t believe The Dance School was already 13 years old at this point — and now we’re another 10 years into our journey 🤍
This is all thanks to the wonderful families who have supported us and trusted us through the years. We’re so proud to have shared so many special memories with you.

Our ethos has always been quality teaching in a nurturing environment, where pupils can grow in both skill and confidence.
We are incredibly proud of all our past and present pupils’ achievements — many now have families of their own and careers in theatre 🎭✨
