✨ 6 months of Court Craft as an LTA Workforce Development Centre ✨

What an incredible first six months it has been.

Since becoming an official LTA Workforce Development Centre, we’ve had the privilege of delivering qualifications, CPD opportunities, first aid and safeguarding training across the North region.

Working alongside counties, coaches and venues, our focus has always been simple — to raise standards, support people and create high-quality learning opportunities that strengthen coaching across our area.

A huge thank you to Leah in Customer Support for all of her hard work, organisation and attention to detail in making sure everything runs smoothly and is spot on behind the scenes.

Thank you as well to all of our tutors for their passion, professionalism and commitment in delivering fantastic courses, and to all of the venues who have welcomed us and created such great environments for learning and development.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far and excited for what’s ahead… especially as we continue to grow our official education and CPD delivery plan in the months to come.

🎾 LAST CALL FOR NORTHERN WOMEN IN TENNIS
The Lexus Ilkley Open is just a fortnight away and one of the highlights of this year's programme will be a special guest appearance by Yasmin Clarke, former professional tennis player and British Junior National Champion, at the Northern Women's Tennis Day on Monday 8/6/26.

Now a Level 5 Master Performance Coach, Yasmin is also an athlete mentor for the Youth Sport Trust and a mentor on the LTA Female Coach Engagement Programme. In December last year she was appointed to the board of the LTA. She will share her experience and insights as a player and as a coach mentoring and working with tennis professionals.

This celebration of the achievements and impact of the female workforce in the North provides a welcoming space to connect, share experiences and build professional relationships. Ticket price includes tournament admission for the day.

🎾 A full house at Leeds Beckett today as 12 new learners begin their LTA Level 3 Tennis Coach course! 👏

Over 11 days, the group will take part in nine days of Core Training and two Elective days, developing the skills and knowledge needed to take their coaching to the next level. 💪

The course also includes a video-based Summative Assessment, where coaches submit an individual lesson to showcase their learning in a real coaching environment.

Whether you’re looking to start a career in tennis coaching, expand your ability to coach individuals, or simply elevate your coaching practice, the LTA Level 3 qualification is a fantastic next step. 🎾
