Day 4 - Our HAF seaside adventure to Southend-on-Sea! πŸŒŠβ˜€οΈπŸ–οΈ
What a perfect way to end our Specialist HAF Innovation and Wellbeing Programme! Our final day was full of sunshine, laughter, food, friendship and unforgettable seaside memories.πŸ“
We travelled by coach to Southend-on-Sea, and the journey was smooth both going and coming back. The children and families were excited from the moment we set off, and when we arrived, the sun was shining beautifully β€” just right for a fun day by the sea, sand and fresh air. 🚌✨
Everyone had such a lovely time playing, relaxing, exploring and enjoying the beach atmosphere. There was plenty to eat and drink, including pizza, juice, water and lots of different fruits, helping the children stay refreshed, happy and full of energy throughout the day. πŸ•πŸ‰πŸŠπŸŽπŸπŸ“πŸŒ
It was more than just a trip β€” it was a day of wellbeing, outdoor play, family bonding, confidence-building and community joy. The children laughed, played, shared food, made memories and enjoyed being together outside London in a calm, happy and exciting environment.
We arrived back in London safely, tired but full of smiles, beautiful memories and gratitude. What an amazing ending to a brilliant HAF programme! ❀️
A huge well done to all our children, families, staff and supporters for making this programme so special. From healthy eating and physical activity to creativity, wellbeing and friendship this has truly been a summer to remember. πŸ’«

Day 3 of our Specialist HAF Innovation and Wellbeing Programme was exciting, creative, active and full of wow moments! πŸŒŸπŸ“Έ
Today brought together the four key HAF elements physical activity, healthy eating, enrichment and wellbeing in such a fun and meaningful way.
The children started with movement, games and team activities to get their bodies active and their energy flowing. From indoor challenges to outdoor play, football, balance activities and teamwork games, they showed confidence, focus and brilliant team spirit. It was lovely to see them encouraging one another, trying new skills and having lots of fun while staying active. βš½πŸ€ΈπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

For our healthy eating session, the children enjoyed a colourful and delicious meal, with fresh fruit, salad, pasta, drinks and snacks. We also used mealtime as a learning moment, talking about what is on the plate, why different foods help our bodies, and how good food gives us energy to learn, play and grow. πŸ‰πŸŠπŸ₯—πŸ

Our enrichment session was extra special today as we welcomed a professional photographer, who taught the children about photography, creativity, health and safety, and the pros and cons of using AI. The children explored how pictures and drawings can be transformed using AI, how images can be animated and brought to life, and how technology can be used in a positive, safe and creative way. Seeing their drawings and photos turn into exciting new images was a real highlight! πŸ“±πŸŽ¨πŸ€–πŸ¦Ύ

The day also supported wellbeing, confidence and friendship. Children had the chance to express themselves, share ideas, laugh with friends, ask questions, take part at their own pace and feel proud of what they created. There were so many smiles, curious minds and proud moments throughout the session. β€οΈπŸ’«
Day 3 was a beautiful mix of learning, movement, food, creativity and confidence-building exactly what HAF is all about.

Well done to all our amazing children for bringing so much energy, imagination and joy today. We cannot wait for the final day! πŸ₯³

A few days ago, our community came together for our Roehampton Community Mural Project, in partnership with and and it was such a beautiful moment to see children, young people, adults and families taking part.
Everyone brought their own ideas, colours, energy and creativity, and together we helped create something positive for the local community.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, encouraged the children, helped prepare the space, sketched, shared ideas and made the day feel so special.
This is what community is about: coming together, connecting, creating memories and building something that belongs to all of us.
We are now moving into the next stage, where the community will come together to start creating the artwork on the wall.
