Susan is preparing to fulfil a long term dream to the climb the iconic Matterhorn. Climbing tuition designed a 4 day programme for her specifically focused on Matterhorn preparation, and, her specific development needs. We spent two days in the South of England - Swanage and Portland - practicing climbing routes in her mountaineering boots , abseiling and getting used to climbing equipment. Later on we spent two more days in Snowdonia, climbing big mountains routes , practicing moving together and building climbing endurance. Susan had a fantastic experience and feels ready to fulfil her dream. Today we inspected the climbing wall at North London Collegiate School. The inspection included putting up new ropes and cleaning the wall from the cobwebs and dust . It is now ready to be used for the first time in many years.
