Been finding solace by growing in my garden.
My potato salad for lunch today. Whilst my spuds aren’t quite ready to harvest, I made this with waxy new potatoes from my local shop, onions fried in extra virgin olive oil and a squeeze of lemon, apple cider vinegar and smoked garlic. Then added a chopped tomato.
Then out to the garden to harvest lemon balm, sorrel, mint and peppery mizuna. All finely sliced and sprinkled over the potatoes with calendula and chive flower petals. 🌼🌼🌼
So rewarding to grow your own; eat your own and all looks very beautiful too.
Now to share at the community garden lunch table. 😊.
I’ll be back in July with details of my first project of the year; a joint collaboration with .aa and ; supporting women through menopause.

Just to say thank you for all the kind messages I have received. I think I have replied to you all but just wanted to say that I am truly grateful for your support.
Whilst I am returning to teaching my classes this week, I am putting all other work on hold till July. For all who have experienced a bereavement, you know that there is a sea of practicalities to wade through along side your emotions. It is not a straightforward journey. I just want to be sure I am fixed myself before I start fixing others again.
So, I will be back in July. Thanks for understanding. xx

I’ll be going little for a while. My dear funny Mumma peacefully earned her wings 🪽 yesterday. I’ll be taking time to make peace with the loss of her physical presence and return when I’m ready 😘

Long time no posting due to lots going on behind the scenes.
Today I said goodbye to my Buxton postural stability classes and working with these two superstars; Natasha and Norma. Natasha from will be taking over from me at Buxton and I know she will flourish in the role. She’s an experienced yogi and now training as a PSI herself. Even though I know my classes will be in excellent hands, it’s still hard to say goodbye to all the wonderful clients I have worked with here for the last year. Huge thank you to all of you; for the hugs, the flowers and the lovely words in your cards. They mean so much.
My private classes in Ashbourne and Winster continue on Thursdays and I’m hoping to start a new one at Hognaston in September. I’m also continuing with my work at on Mondays at Ashbourne and Bakewell.
With my freed up time on Wednesdays, I’ll be focusing on my health coaching as well as time with my family who need my support right now.
So, coaching doors are open and I’m already working with a client who is housebound and needing 1-2-1 support with diet and mobility. I’m also back in the reflexology saddle with limited spaces available a Friday afternoon.
More details to follow. But first, let’s enjoy our bank holiday weekend 😊

Took some time out this morning to complete "Power of the Poles" with ; a pole walking induction session in Allestree Park on the outskirts of Derby.
In 2024, I tore my meniscus cartilage on a knee that was already damaged from a skiing injury in my 20's which tore my cruciate ligament. I am determined not to let these injuries get the better of me and manage to teach 7 fitness classes a week without too much trouble. However, walking can be problematic at times; especially on uneven surfaces and steep hill declines.
Working with Sam this morning was so enlightening. Using the different gradients of Allestree Park, it was easy to see how hill climbing and descent was made all the easier on the knees with the support of the poles. Equally, it was a mighty fine all over body work out! I will definitely be returning for some of her guided walks in the near future.
I am still busy behind the scenes writing for forthcoming workshops which launch in Autumn. And, I am still teaching my Postural Stability classes in Winster and Hulland Ward (Ashbourne). But, something new tonight; I am opening my doors for a reflexology client for the first time since moving up to Derbyshire. Looking forward to feeling that energetic connection through the feet along with the comforting smell of beeswax balm and incense.
Enjoy your weekend. Back soon with more news. 🙂

After a day on the screen and the rain lashing down… time to chill and try something new.
Wild garlic is in season and grows wild in abundance near where I live. So tried this recipe from to use up some of my stash in the freezer.… cheese and wild garlic scones. So tasty, one’s scone already 😂
