For years, I was teaching multiple classes a week, training regularly and teaching high-intensity workouts. I loved it. I had the energy for it, I got results from it, and I genuinely believed I could just keep pushing.
Then my body started changing.
People talked about perimenopause, but if I’m honest, I didn’t think it would affect me that much. I was a fitness instructor. I thought I’d be fine.
When the symptoms started creeping in, I ignored them. I told myself it was stress, a busy week, a bad night’s sleep. I thought if I just kept going, it would pass.
But perimenopause had other ideas.
The more I pushed, the more my body pushed back.
That was the moment I realised I couldn’t keep using the same strategy forever.
I didn’t change. My hormones did. So my training had to change too.
That’s when strength became my priority.
I stopped chasing more exercise and started focusing on building muscle, supporting recovery and working with my body instead of constantly fighting it.
And as I changed, so did my classes.
Because I know I’m not the only woman going through this.
Many of the women I teach are navigating the same changes: less energy, slower recovery, stubborn weight gain, poor sleep and a body that no longer responds the way it used to.
So my classes evolved too.
They’re still challenging. They’re still effective. But they’re designed to help women build strength, confidence and fitness in a way that supports their body, rather than constantly fighting against it.
Have you noticed your body responding differently to exercise than it used to?

Something you may not know about me…
Alongside working full-time and teaching fitness classes each week, I’m constantly studying.
Every qualification, every course, every workshop and every CPD has one purpose:
To help me support my clients better.
I don’t believe learning stops when you pass an exam. The fitness industry changes. Research evolves. Our bodies change. Life changes.
The women who come to my classes trust me with their health, confidence and wellbeing, and I take that responsibility seriously.
That’s why you’ll often find me studying late in the evening, revising on weekends, attending courses, asking questions and looking for ways to improve.
Not because I have to.
Because I want to.
The learning never ends, and neither does my commitment to helping you become stronger, healthier and more confident.
Thank you for being part of the journey. ❤️

This is why I do what I do ❤️
No extreme diet.
No crazy workouts.
No overnight transformation.
Just showing up consistently, making better choices, and trusting the process.
Over time she became stronger, built more muscle, reduced her waist measurement, and most importantly, feels better in herself.
As a fitness instructor, there’s nothing better than seeing someone gain confidence and realise what they’re capable of.
Results don’t always happen quickly, but they do happen when you keep going.
If you’re looking for a friendly, supportive place to build strength and confidence, I’d love to help you too.

💪 Beginner-friendly classes
❤️ No mirrors. No judgement. Just support.
I started teaching fitness because I love helping people get stronger.
What I didn’t expect was the friendships, the laughs, the support and the little community that would grow from it.
The workouts matter.
But it’s the people who make it special ❤️
Please tell me I’m not the only one… 😂
How many times have you talked yourself out of a workout before you’ve even started?
Comment “ME” if you’ve done this.
