Today we ran our parkrun pilgrimage at Bushy parkrun where it all began. Over a thousand runners on an incredibly flat course with an icy wind. Muddy in parts with plenty of slippy, slidey bits. Dave came 10th, David was 544 and Jane 663. Back to the hotel for an all you can breakfast.

Team Stupidity has a new member. After 4 years of supporting Lady Pea did her first parkrun at Bramhall parkrun #610 for the Fibonacci challenge. She did amazingly well and never grumbled once. Daddy Dave came second with a new Pb and Grumpa David also got a Pb. Uncle Ste ran Bramhall for the first time and Lolly Jane ran with Poppy and they didn’t come last, they were 5 minutes in front of the last runners and the tailwalker.

Centre Vale parkrun Todmorden. 5 laps, massive puddles, hailstones, 3 hills. Mr M was particularly grumpy post flu, Bambi bounded along time 6th place and Jane blames her rubbish time on being a good little nursey and stopping to help a fallen runner.with David Marshall and Dave Ayre.

Took my bodyguard and bag carrier to Crissy Field parkrun San Francisco today so I could add an American flag to my parkrun profile and run while admiring the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and watch the yachts sailing in San Francisco Bay. Struggled with calf cramp from all the hill climbing yesterday. We knew San Francisco had hills but OMG they are almost vertical and every street is up or down.

Dave drove himself to Tawd Valley parkrun this morning, finished first then did a volunteer stint as barcode scanner, while David & Jane followed along behind. A surprisingly pleasant parkrun through an urban green patch next to a shopping centre, through a housing estate and over a bypass.

Trio of mad people let loose in Haigh Woodland country park this morning. Beautiful woodland parkrun that was all downhill on the way out but unfortunately all uphill on the way back.
