After NLH, inspired by HockeyIndia and neighbours London Pulse and guided by TrustforLondon, reached out to England Hockey to support ticket distribution for FIH Pro League 2025, they engaged with more state primary schools in the local area and some young pupils got to play on the main pitch at Lee Valley, meeting members of the England men’s squad.

Don't Let the Measles Exclusion Affect Your Child’s Fitness 🏑

With the current measles outbreak in North London, we know many local families are facing the frustration of the school exclusion policy for unvaccinated children identified as close contacts.

North London Hockey believe every child deserves to stay active, even if they've had to miss out on their school PE and team sports. We will organise 'Catch-Up Hockey' specifically for those who have been affected by these recent isolations.

What you need to know:
The Goal: To bridge the gap in fitness and coordination caused by exclusion.

The Logistics: These are extra-curricular sessions held outside our regular club schedule to help kids "catch up" to their peers.

Venue: TBC

The Cost: Because these require additional pitch hire and dedicated coaching staff, there will need to be an additional registration fee that must cover these specific costs.

We want to ensure no child in our community falls behind. Let’s get them back on the turf and back into the game!

One of our senior clubs Southgate Adelaide Hockey Club has been trying to connect with new neighbours in the Muswell Hill community as they are passionate about hockey, and want to engage with the community as their home fixtures will be at Fortismere School, N10 1NE.
