🚨COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT🚨
Off the back of the recent appointments of Leon Driscoll as Head Coach and Chris Wilkins as Director of Rugby, we are excited to welcome Jack Heighton to the coaching team.
Jack is a New Zealand-born coach and former professional player. He spent six years with North Harbour and was part of the Blues squad in 2020. He then moved to the USA, playing two seasons with Rugby New York before retiring at 24 to focus on coaching.
Jack was Head Coach of East Coast Bays Premier last season, following his first year as an assistant. He brings a strong coaching philosophy built on relationships, player development, and high standards both on and off the field.
He joins Wimbledon as Lead Skills Coach and Assistant Backs and Attack Coach. While his primary focus will be the men’s squad, Jack is fully aligned with the club’s wider pathway and development programme.
He is ready to get started and build on the strong foundations already in place.
Welcome to the Dons, Jack.

Tim Mackew recently posted online about our facilities and what might be a new England Rugby awards category. 🙂 Credit where credit is due and a huge thanks to Laura at Wickes Wimbledon who selected us for a community award and donated a lot of paint which helped make this happen. It is a scheme that is run nationally which all clubs could apply for ://www.wickes.co.uk/community-programme.
I should also say other schemes are also available at Topps and B&Q - we are still waiting to hear back from them - fingers crossed. 🤞🏼
If you fancy hiring our club - Our events lead Karen is an expert at making things happen. 😉 https://www.wimbledonrfc.co.uk/a/venue-hire-41609.html?page=1
