❤️⚽ Football Is Bigger Than Rivalries ⚽❤️

Dear Eight FC Families,

Today, we would like to ask our community to come together and support a young footballer from Magic Football Club.

Bartosz, a player from Elite Magic FC U12, has recently been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a rare and serious form of blood cancer. Instead of enjoying football with his teammates, he is now preparing for the biggest challenge of his young life.

His treatment will involve intensive chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant. It will be a long and difficult journey for Bartosz and his family.

At times like this, football results, league tables, and club badges become unimportant. We are all part of one football family, and when one of our young players needs support, we stand together.

We encourage anyone who is able to donate, no matter how small the contribution, to support Bartosz and his family during this difficult period. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing the appeal.

Together, we can help a young footballer focus on what matters most — his treatment, recovery, and hopefully one day returning to the football pitch doing what he loves.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bartosz, his family, teammates, coaches, and everyone at Magic Football Club.

Stay strong, Bartosz.
The entire football community is behind you.

From Fun to Real Opportunity ⚽️✨

This is what the journey is all about.

Not one.
Not two.
Not three.
Not four.

Five players from one group made it into professional academy environments. 👏

A group of boys who started by simply enjoying football together — playing, laughing, competing, learning, and growing side by side. What began as fun slowly became something more serious: a pathway, an opportunity, and a reminder of what can happen when talent, environment, attitude, and support come together.

Now, five of these boys have already signed with professional clubs:

🔵 Mayson – Reading FC
🔵 Jude – Reading FC
🟡 Leon – Watford FC
🟠 Adam – Luton Town
🐝 Ollie – Brentford FC

And the journey continues for Yousef and Adam, who are still enjoying their football and competing at the very top of the grassroots environment.

What makes this group special is not only the talent of the boys, but the strength of the parents behind them. Families who supported each other, helped each other, travelled together, celebrated together, and still organise parties together.

No jealousy. No ego. Just teamwork, friendship, and genuine support.

Sometimes these boys even compete against each other now — but the respect, connection, and memories remain.

Well done to all the boys and parents. 👏

We have really enjoyed being part of your journey, and we will continue watching proudly from the sideline.

This is football. This is development. This is the pathway.

Jack Sparrow once said,
“Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate.”

Proof that the best things in life aren’t things 🌅

That is exactly why these boys deserved this kind of opportunity.

Today was a proper test against Category 1 academy standards — the speed of the game, the physical intensity, the detail in possession, the pressing triggers, the quality in transition, and the punishment for every small mistake.

From our side, there were so many positives. We showed bravery to play through pressure, we tried to build from the back, we broke lines at good moments, and for long periods we were able to compete technically and tactically. The boys didn’t hide. They wanted the ball, they tried to play forward, and they showed real courage in a high-level environment.

We had 20 players involved, which is massive for their development. Every player had the opportunity to feel the standard, the tempo, the decision-making speed, and the level of concentration required at academy level. Many of our players showed that they can match that environment, and that gives us great belief as a club.

A big thank you to AFC Bournemouth for inviting us to their Performance Centre — one of the newest and most impressive training grounds in the UK. For our players to experience that environment is something valuable, and these are the moments that help them understand where the next level is.

Boys, you can be proud of yourselves. This is not the end point — this is part of the journey

Another Crazy Weekend Across The Board ⚽️

This weekend, 7 of our teams represented The Eight FC at the Inv3ntive Tournament — and what a weekend it was.

Every single one of our teams reached either the semi-finals or finals, which is a fantastic achievement and shows the strength, depth, and progress across the club.

We won finals.
We lost finals.
We won semi-finals.
We lost semi-finals.
We won penalty shootouts.
We lost penalty shootouts.

That is football.

But the most important part of this weekend was not just the results — it was the responsibility given to the players.

In a local tournament environment, we had the opportunity to step back slightly and allow the players to take more ownership. They helped manage, organise, communicate, set up team principles, rotate positions, support teammates, and make decisions themselves.

This is a huge part of development.

Players do not grow only by being coached every second. They grow when they are trusted, when they are challenged, and when they are allowed to think, lead, solve problems, and take responsibility on the pitch.

A very positive weekend for the club.

Well done to all players, coaches, and parents involved. We keep building.

High Standards. Real Development. Competitive Environment.
