Waterside & District Churches League

League fixtures for this season 26/27.

Hi folks,

The Churches League AGM has been organised for 7.30pm Tuesday 5th May at Lisneal College (room to be confirmed)

The Foyle Zone AGM will be held afterwards aiming to start around 8.15pm.

Anyone who is unavailable to attend that night but would be interested/willing to come on the zone committee to help out organising for next season can let Simon or Peter know and will be put forward at the meeting.

The Cup final took place tonight at Faughan with Gortnessy overcoming Cumber Upper 23-12 on the night.

Had a great turnout of spectators coming to watch which was good to see. With both teams playing some great bowls and the match was played in a good sporting manner.

I would like to thank Faughan for the use of their hall and the tea after the game it was much appreciated.

That brings a close to another season and congratulations to Gortnessy on winning both the league and the cup.
