Vinted Event at Brigade 💙🛍️

On Sunday 4th October we’re taking over the club with rails of clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and hopefully plenty of bargains 👀

If you’ve got a wardrobe full of things you never wear (guilty 🙋🏽‍♀️), you can book a table for £15 and have a clear out. Or if you’d rather just shop, come down for a nosey between 11am-3pm!

Entry is £3 at the door and we’ll have tea & coffee on the go too ☕️

All the table and entry money goes back into the club 💙

We’ve only a limited number of tables, so give me a message if you want one ☺️

🏏 Alex Smallwoods Spirit of Cricket Award 🏏

A huge congratulations to Dawson Moore, who was presented with our Spirit of Cricket Award. 👏

This award recognises much more than performances with bat or ball. It celebrates respect for opponents and officials, sportsmanship, teamwork, encouragement of teammates and, most importantly, playing the game in the right spirit.

Dawson Moore has consistently shown these qualities throughout the season, both on and off the field, and is a fantastic example of what being part of a cricket team is all about.

Well deserved! 🏏👏

🏏 Youth Awards Night 🏏

Friday night saw us celebrate another fantastic season for our youth section as we held our annual Youth Awards Night.

It was a great opportunity to recognise the hard work, commitment and achievements of our young cricketers throughout the season.

With all our players showing great progress throughout the year, and our U13s enjoying World Cup success by winning the Plate, the future is looking very promising for these young cricketers.

A huge thank you goes to all our coaches for the time, effort and dedication they put into developing our young players throughout the season.

We would also like to thank all the parents and families for their continued support.

Most importantly, congratulations to all our young players. Whether receiving an award on Friday night or not, every player should be proud of the effort and progress they have made this season.

Congratulations to our 1st XI on lifting the Sammy Jeffrey Shield following a fantastic two-day final against Killyclooney! 🏆🏏

A brilliant team performance throughout, with DD Barr leading the way on Day 2, top scoring with a superb 100 and also taking 4 wickets. 💯🔥

Well done to all the players, on a fantastic achievement.

Condolences to James, Lesley and Family

Brigade Cricket Club would like to extend our sincere condolences to our first-team player James, his mum Lesley, and the wider family on the sad passing of James’s grandfather and Lesley’s father, Mervyn Colhoun.

Mervyn was always a keen supporter of James throughout his years playing cricket for the club.

Our thoughts are with James, Lesley and all the family at this very difficult time.
