All Maiden City Soccer Programmes, challenge children in a fun way to create positive results, build friendships, relationships and develop confidence.
Maiden City Soccer is a local cross community football development organisation. We introduce young players from 4 years of age to the skills of soccer. Our local community focused organisation has been serving the North West and beyond since formation in 1990. We are a Registered Charity – NIC102348.
Schools in the Community:
We provide tailored coaching in local Primary and Secondary schools in the North West. The Schools Coaching Programme - delivered under our philosophy of ’Soccer as Education’, is available to schools throughout a wide geographic area. A significant number of Primary and Secondary Schools have participated in this well-established programme since its introduction in 1990. This programme has been very successful with local Primary and Post Primary Schools and has received tremendous feedback from all the schools, teachers and children involved.
‘Football For All’ Community Sessions:
These sessions provide a much needed after school activity and are facilitated in local leisure and community centres throughout the North West and Donegal. Details of these programmes can be found in the Community Section of our website.
Players are coached by Child Friendly and Fully Qualified Coaching Staff on all aspects of the game, with the focus on age related skills and drills. Every Boy and Girl who participates in the Community Sessions will have fun, keep fit make new friends and learn.

Our Maiden City family provides professional football development and through this channel, we also provide social-wellbeing, mobility, personal & social development. In our Football For Life strategy, we provide a clear understanding of the benefits of sustained participation in athletic activities via the medium of football.
We have embarked on an exciting partnership with Lisneal College, with the development of our new office & changing facilities. Operational plans are in place to develop our partnership further with the Education Authority. This involves a three-stage strategic process, of which stage one has been achieved. Stage 2 will commence shortly in which the existing 3g facility will be redeveloped & enhanced over the coming 18-24 months.
Without the essential support of our partners, sponsors & member contributions, this would not be achievable.
We would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the following organisations, who without their continuous support, our programme would not be sustainable…
• Lisneal College
• Education Authority
• Go Power
• AFC Bournemouth
We look forward to strengthening our relationship with all of our players, families, volunteers & partners during the coming season.
