Well done to Ian Peatfield today’s winner of the Keith Bacon Plaque, our 2026 seasons opener held at Manor who gave us a wonderful welcome with tee boards (pictured) at the Clubhouse & the 1st Tee Box. Great Bacon or Sausage cobs beforehand, lovely coffee & tea. Then kept the Halfway House open for us which my group enjoyed immensely 😉.

Soon be the start of another season!

Great day was had by all at Abbey Hill Golf Centre, Milton Keynes for the 21st Edition of the nags Head Challenge. Fine weather & a good course conditions saw a first victory in 3 years for our Society against our good friends from the Nags Head, Great Linford with Sawley taking the spoils by 4.5pts to 2.5!

1st match of our 30th Anniversary season was held at Radcliffe on Trent who welcomed us with a nice little touch of the sign on the 1st tee box.
Course played well, scoring was decent & 2 Divisions were contested with Ian Whyte taking the overall win.
Presentation of 2024 trophies followed match, looking forward to our next game at Melton Mowbray on the 25th April.

Tonight's committee meeting marks the start of our 30th Anniversary Season
As always the society is open to all who enjoy the game of golf and a bit of banter.
The committee look forward to welcoming existing, old & new members and any guests who may wany to come along and see what we're about before committing themselves 🏌️🏌️🏌️🍻🥂
