Sad to hear this, condolences to his family and organisation.

It is with great sadness we have heard the news of the passing of Kaicho Hatsuo Royama today.

Kaicho and Hanshi spent time together in the early sixties at the honbu dojo in Japan and during the period of the KWU prior to the pandemic Kaicho always referred to our two organisations as IFKan.

The world of martial arts has lost another great karateka and founder.

On behalf of our IFK Board we send our condolences to his family and to everyone in the Kyokushinkan .

Finally got to award Beichen his blue belt certificate this week, after all his hard work at the June grading. Beichen will be leaving us soon to work in London, his hard work and good sense of humour will be missed, we wish you great success with your teaching career my friend 👍👍 Osu!
