Wolf Cycles Castle Carrock Time Trial - 16th September 2026

Next Wednesday we will be holding the last round of the TT league.

The timing has been changed due to earlier sunset hours so first rider will be off at 18.01 and we can have a maximum number of 30 riders in 1 minute increments. People will be taken on a first come first served basis, however we normally get about 25 riders at these events so there should be enough for everyone. We will also be keeping sign on open once riders have set off so if you’re not there until after 6 then that’s fine.

Entry is £5 on the night and you are required to have a front and rear lights. Any questions then feel free to get in touch. We will likely be heading to the pub after the event so anyone is welcome to join us.

TT League Update

After a few busy weeks, here is the latest league standings after 9 rounds. Following Sunday's Open event it is important to clarify that only people who have already completed a round will pick up points from Great Dun Fell towards the league, this is the same as last year and the idea is to keep the league competitive for the local riders.

Following 9 rounds many riders are now dropping scores and more are getting their sixth round in so overall positions are shuffling and small point gains are making all the difference. A couple of very notable performances have come in the form of Rachael's 26:19 at the Crown 10, narrowly beating Carol to take the Female win on the night and a crucial 50 points. Ross Litherland flew up Coombs Hill Climb to take fourth in a time of 3:18 while Oliver took another win further securing his Road Bike category win. At a rather wet and windy Great Dun Fell Ed Lamb started his season with a very solid ride of 28 minutes alongside Ian Jackson who took the V60 win on the day. Gert has secured his V50 overall win with his ride at Great Dun Fell, Gert is also in a very close battle for third place in the Road Bike category as he trails Jack by only 3 points.

The Open overall is still in contention to Alex and Dan to win at the final round. Dan took third at Coombs which was necessary to put himself into a position to win the overall and essentially needs a top 5 at Castle Carrock next week to take the overall. The Female overall standings are still open to different winners, however Daisy needs to merely turn up to pick up a sixth round and secure the overall.

The final round is going to be at Castle Carrock next Wednesday 16th September, more information to follow tomorrow.

The Argon 18 E117 Tri/TT — a serious piece of kit built with one goal in mind: speed. All for under £3000 🖤⚡️

This particular build combines the proven E117 platform with a top-tier Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 Di2 12-speed groupset, giving you lightning-fast electronic shifting and race-ready performance.

The setup includes a 54/40T Dura-Ace crankset, 11–34T cassette and Dura-Ace hydraulic disc brakes, paired with a fast carbon wheel package — a Shimano Ultegra C60 carbon front wheel and Profile Design GMR 60 rear.

Up front, the bike gets a Profile Design carbon Wing 20C+ base bar with ASC Carbon extensions, riser kit and TT stem, giving plenty of adjustability to dial in an aggressive, aerodynamic position. Vittoria Corsa Pro tyres and a Pro TSA 1.2 saddle complete the build.

It’s an ex-display bike that’s never been ridden, with only some minor cosmetic marks — meaning you’re getting an incredibly high-spec race bike without the usual race miles.

Whether you’re lining up for a triathlon, chasing a PB against the clock or simply want one seriously fast machine, the E117 is built to deliver.

Dura-Ace. Carbon. Aero. Di2. Ready to race. 🚀
