North Midlands Powerlifting

The North Midlands Base Development competition is open to lifters of all experience levels, whether you’re preparing for your first competition or ready to step back onto the platform.

It’s a great opportunity to gain competition experience, put your training into practice and become part of the supportive North Midlands powerlifting community.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION WEEK
This one is for the people who keep our competitions running.

Our referees, platform crew, MCs, spotters, loaders, table team, weigh-in team, scorers, coaches, supporters and every person who gives their time behind the scenes.

Powerlifting competitions don’t happen because of one person.

They happen because people show up early, stay late, keep things moving, support the lifters, make the calls, load the bar, run the platform and create the atmosphere.
Many of our volunteers do this because they love the sport, the community and the lifters who step onto the platform.

So this week, we want to say a genuine thank you.

To everyone who gives their time, energy and support to North Midlands Powerlifting, we appreciate you more than you know.

The platform would not exist without you.

Behind every good competition is a team of people keeping the sport moving properly.

Referees are a vital part of the platform. They help uphold standards, support fair competition and make sure lifters are judged consistently across the division.

If you care about the sport and want to play a bigger role in its future, this is your opportunity to get involved.
