The Soar Valley Model Railway Club was founded in 1981 when a group of model railway enthusiasts met at the Manor House Hotel in Quorn. To cut a long story short, we now have our own club rooms, a membership population of around 50 and we are hosts to one of the biggest provincial model railway exhibitions around, 'The Heart of the Midlands' Show at the Garendon High School in Loughborough every year at the end of September.
