The kz2 kart first race at Silverstone was. A great success in many ways
We had good weather 90% of the time
The track provided adequate overtaking opportunities despite early worries from some and we ended up with a deserved winner in Morgan Porter
Along with Charlie Cole. & Jess Edgar seemed to have the upper hand regarding best lap times although Gus Lawrence & Josh Price where well in the mix early days also going well where Charlie Turner & Ian Smith
In the final Charlie Cole jumped into the lead,but only held that position for 1lap before Porter took back the lead at the same time Cole got into a bit of paintswapping with Turner which left the Jade Team driver in 11th position Jess Edgar now stepped up to challenge Morgan having the best weekend of her KZ2 career She did briefly take the lead of the race At this time in the race Gus & Josh appeared to lose pace and dropped away from the leading group
Porter held on to take the win with Jess in 2nd Isaac Smith put up a very strong performance to finish 3rd
Charlie Cole made a remarkable recovery to finish 4th

Just 1 race left to decide who will be 2026 muk O plate winner
The pre final was won by Morgan Porter Charlie Cole was 2nd & Jess Edgar was 3rd Charlie making a strong comeback after being delayed at the start setting the fastest lap of the race

In the first heat of the day neither of the front karts made particularly good starts but Gus Lawrence had a blinder
of a getaway leadingfirst , Cole Edgar had been muscle down to 4th place but she knuckled down and maintained.4th place to the chequered flag
Gus Larence and Charlie Cole started to pull away from their pursues until Gus pulled to the side of the track with mechanical failure leaving Charlie with a sizeable lead that he maintained to the end Porter was 2nd and Jess crossed the finish line in 3rd but was later gi e. S penalty for a dislodged nose cone which put her into 7th in the final results and promoted Ralf Jungling up to 3rd

Final test of the day saw Jessica top the time sheets but the fastest lap of the day was done by Morgan Porter driving his Sodi Kart with a TM engine
