🐬We are pleased to announce the return of club squad swimming 🐬

We have been working away in the background for a number of months now and are delighted to announce the planned return to our Club Squad this autumn.

There are still some details to finalise, but it will be held on a Friday evening from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm, and the squad will be led by Danny Ellis.

The squad is open to any ex-members of Louth Swimming Club who are aged between 14 and 17 years old.

At this stage, we are asking for an expression of interest by requesting a trial via the club website, we will be in touch with all those who register with more details as they become available.

Please pass this on to any former swimmers who may be interested in joining.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our coach, Kari Yarsley, has passed away.

Kari was known to swimmers and families throughout the club. No matter where she was needed, Kari was always willing to step in at short notice, offering her time, experience and encouragement to everyone she coached.

Kari embodied the true spirit of volunteering. She was always one of the first to offer her help, taking on many roles around the club with enthusiasm. In recent years, she also joined the AOE team, where many members will remember seeing her helping at galas and competitions.

Kari's kindness, generosity and commitment to Louth Swimming Club have touched so many people, and she will be greatly missed by swimmers, parents, coaches and volunteers alike.

Our thoughts are with Kari's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

A huge congratulations to Louth Dolphins Swimming Club on celebrating an incredible 40 years of inspiring swimmers and bringing the local community together.

The club recently marked the milestone with a fantastic Activity Day and Sportsman's Week presentations, celebrating teamwork, achievement and the dedication of its swimmers, volunteers, coaches and families.

From exciting team challenges to recognising this year's award winners and announcing the new club captains, it was a day full of fun, friendship and well-deserved celebrations.

We're proud to support the Louth Dolphins here at Meridian Leisure Centre and would like to congratulate everyone involved on making this special anniversary such a memorable occasion.
