A huge thank you and well done to both Grainthorpe & Kidgate for joining us this afternoon!

Thank you for being part of the re-introduction of Netball to our WSSP inter-school competition calendar. It was fantastic to see the girls competing, learning new skills and, most importantly, enjoying themselves and developing a love of movement on the court! 💙🏐

⚽️ GIRLS FOOTBALL FESTIVALS! 🏆

Thank you and a huge well done to all five schools who attended our first inter-school competition of the academic year here at Louth Academy — Grainthorpe, Tetney, Theddlethorpe, Kidgate & St Michael’s! ✌🏻

This morning, Tetney came out on top! 🏆 Congratulations to our newest member school, who have certainly announced themselves with a bang on their first competitive involvement with us! 🎉

There was a tense table-topping clash with Kidgate during the round robin, with Tetney securing a 3–1 victory to help claim the title. A special shoutout to Kidgate, though, who finished as the top scorers with an impressive 19 goals! ⚽️

🥉 St Michael’s 1 — 8 points
4️⃣ Theddlethorpe Academy — 6 points
5️⃣ St Michael’s 2 — 4 points

This afternoon it was another incredibly competitive festival, with Kidgate 3 looking to pull clear of the pack. However, St Michael’s 1 produced a fantastic final round of fixtures to sn**ch the title! 🏆👏🏻

🎾🏓 Racket Sports Project – First Session! 🏓🎾

Today, in partnership with Louth Tennis Centre and Louth Padel Co. we hosted the first session of our exciting Racket Sports Project, supported by Active Lincolnshire.

We were delighted to welcome St. Michael's C of E Primary School Louth as our first member school to take part. Pupils from Years 3, 4 and 5 enjoyed a fantastic morning of tennis games and activities before having the opportunity to experience padel for the first time.

The session went down a treat, with plenty of enthusiasm, smiles and some fantastic racket skills on show! 🎾

A huge thank you to Morgan for supporting us throughout the morning and helping make the first session such a success. 👏🏻

We’re really looking forward to getting more of our member schools involved over coming weeks and months… as we look to continue introducing pupils to the exciting world of racket sports! 🌟 Inclusive Sports Visit - Market Rasen CoE Primary 🌟

Today we visited Market Rasen CoE Primary School North Wolds Federation to deliver another fantastic Inclusive Sports Visit, working with two classes across the morning. 🏃‍♀️🏅

Year 3/4 pupils enjoyed an introduction to Pickleball, developing their skills, coordination and confidence, while Year 1/2 pupils took part in a mixture of Dodgeball and Boccia.

We had a fabulous morning alongside Mr Toothill and his pupils, with brilliant enthusiasm, teamwork and effort on show throughout all of the activities. 👏🏻

⭐ We also had the opportunity to recognise some fantastic individuals through our Star Player, Self-Belief and Honesty Awards.
