Over the weekend, all of our teams held a minute’s silence in memory of Noah Woods from Brantham, following the heartbreaking news that has saddened so many people across the county over the past few days.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Noah’s family during this incredibly difficult time.

As parents ourselves, and as a club with so many young people and families at its heart, it is impossible not to feel deeply saddened by the tragedy.

We send our love and thoughts to the Woods family.

⚽️ FUTURES RESULTS – WEEK 3 ⚽️

Week 3 brought another weekend of fantastic football for our Futures sides, as we reached the end of the mini cup groups that will determine where each team will compete in their respective JPL Cup tiers. 🔥

💪🏻 U15s – TOP TIER SECURED

Our U15s continued their impressive start with a fantastic 5-2 victory at home to Cringleford.

The result means they progress into the top tier of the JPL Cup while remaining undefeated. A brilliant start from the boys! 👏🏻

🔵 U14s – GROUP WINNERS

Our U14s faced a tough away trip to FFE and had to show plenty of character after going a goal behind.

They fought their way back into the game and eventually secured a 2-1 victory.

The winning goal came after some goalmouth chaos, with the ball eventually crossing the line to seal the win — and with it, top spot in their mini group! 🔥

🏆 ALL SIX THROUGH

And the really positive news is that, based on the results so far, all six of our JPL sides have finished in qualification positions.

That means every one of our JPL teams will be moving forward into their respective cup tiers — another fantastic achievement in the opening weeks of our Futures journey. 👏🏻

Now it’s time for Week 4…

The mini groups are done, the cup tiers are set and the league season begins.

Another chapter starts next weekend as our Futures sides look to make an impressive start to their league campaigns.

The journey continues. 💙❤️⚽️

⚽️ WHAT AN EFFORT! ⚽️

We put out a call to our teams for some last-minute pitch maintenance — on a Friday evening, no less! — and once again, this club never ceases to amaze us. 👏🏻

The work, effort and energy that people continue to put into making this club what it is really is something special.

And it’s all for one simple reason — to make sure our local community continues to flourish and our kids have the opportunity to play, enjoy and develop through grassroots football. 💙⚽️

It’s easy to see a pitch ready for a game and not think about what goes on behind the scenes to make it happen.

But nights like this show exactly what KPFC is all about — people giving up their own time, working together and doing whatever needs to be done for the benefit of the club and our young players.

To everyone who gave up their Friday evening to get stuck in…

When we were choosing the kit design for our new Futures programme, we naturally wanted to do something different.

How do we create an identity that distinguishes our Futures sides from our Sunday youth teams in blue, and from our girls’ teams who now proudly wear purple?

The reality was… we didn’t need to look forward. We just needed to look back.

The blue & maroon still sits quietly throughout the club. From our branding, to the photographs hanging at the back of the clubhouse, it’s a colourway that many local players will remember fondly.

And look closely at those old photos and you’ll see faces that are still part of KPFC today — coaching teams, supporting the club and coming up to watch games.

Clubs don’t have futures unless they respect their past.

So, for Year 1 of our Futures programme, our players will proudly represent that past as they pull on the blue & maroon stripes.

A nod to the generations that came before them, while creating a new pathway, new opportunities and a new future for local players.

The past shapes the future.

The Emeralds will be looking to continue their incredible unbeaten run and defend that long-standing streak as they get their latest campaign underway. 🟣👑

⚽️ ANOTHER PACKED WEEKEND FOR KPFC! ⚽️

Another big weekend of football awaits, with 27 youth teams in action across Saturday and Sunday! 🔥

🌟 THIS WEEK’S SPOTLIGHT: OUR U7s 🌟

This weekend is a particularly special one for our U7 sides as they begin their football journey — not just for this season, but their very first season of football! 💙⚽️

They’ll also be part of a new chapter in youth football, becoming one of the first age groups to experience 3v3 football as part of the national format.

The smaller-sided game is designed to give young players more time on the ball, more opportunities to interact with their teammates and opponents, and plenty more chances to get involved in the action. 👏🏻

Most importantly, we hope every one of our U7 players gets out there, has fun and enjoys their first taste of development football.

And for all our other teams…

Those who picked up wins last weekend will be looking to carry that momentum forward, while those whose results didn’t quite go their way will have another opportunity to bounce back this weekend. 💪🏻

Whatever the result, it’s another chance to play, learn, develop and enjoy being part of KPFC.

⚽️ FUTURES FIXTURES – WEEK 3 ⚽️

Week 3 of our Futures journey is here, with some sides looking to continue their strong starts, while others will be looking to bounce back and get their campaigns moving. 💪🏻

All 7 Futures sides are in action this Saturday, with our 6 Junior Premier League teams looking to cement their places in their respective mini-leagues as they battle for their eventual cup placements. 🔥

👀 THE PERFECT STARTS

After fantastic comeback victories last weekend, our U13s and U15s will be looking to maintain their 100% records when they face Personal Best and Cringleford respectively.

Can they make it three from three? 👊🏻

⚔️ A DOUBLE HEADER

Our older age groups will also welcome Cringleford JFC to Town, as they make the trip south for a double header of Futures football.

Another action-packed Saturday awaits, with plenty of competitive football, challenges and opportunities to learn across the age groups.
