Ladies
Thank you all very much for your very kind and generous donations towards our Breast Cancer Day held on Saturday 29th August. We are delighted to say that the final figure raised was ÂŁ680 all of which will be forwarded to Breast Cancer Now. Whether you took part on the day or kindly donated, your contribution is much appreciated.
It was a fun day with great golf played by the 36 ladies who took part. The sun shone which helped too. We had competitions for best team score, nearest the pin, longest drive and a toilet seat hazard on the 9th added to the challenge! Congratulations to all the winners!
The putting competition, for a bottle of gin kindly donated by our Captain Lorraine, was fiercely competitive with Anne Bremner winning the play off. Well done Anne.
We are very grateful to everyone who donated in any way to make the event such a success. With you all entering into the spirit of the day by dressing in pink, having fun on the course and enjoying the friendship with fizz and cake in the clubhouse after the golf, it made it a memorable day.
