Our full time scholarship programme is entering its 3rd year. Players will study a BTEC Level 3 Extended National Diploma in Sport (the equivalent of 3 A levels and 168 UCAS points) while also training on a daily basis on the pitch and in the gym.

Glenavon FC Academy are delighted that Academy graduate and first team player Ben Wilson has completed a move to Brentford FC.

Ben has been at Glenavon FC since 2019, joining from Banbridge Rangers Youth Academy / Banbridge Rangers Football Club and worked extremely hard through the age groups to be rewarded with a professional contract.

Academy Manager Jeff Magee presented Ben with one of his Glenavon FC match shirts before he flew out to England.

Well done and congratulations Ben - and very well deserved. We are very proud of you.
