A rough draft but I'm happy with this for now, what do you think?

For my birthday this year I wish...
Not to receive anymore gifts,
I do not want a single thing,
Not more clothes or shoes or rings.

Instead I want to reduce and clear
All the items I once held dear,
They build upon my household chores,
and so I do not want any more,
Too much stuff can take it's toll,
I do not want to clutter my soul.

But if a gift is what you choose
Let it be something I can use.
Please grant this wish, be my friend
And help me and my spirit ascend.
