Today, we have said a fond farewell and happy retirement to Jayne who has been with us for 18 years as our Finance Manager.

We had a small low-key lunch to celebrate, which was Jayne’s wish and on behalf of everyone at the Club, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jayne for all she has done in her time here with us and hope she enjoys her retirement and all the travels she has planned with husband, John.

We welcomed Jayne’s replacement, Caley to the team a month ago and she is now ready to take over the helm in the office for all things finance. Thank you Jayne and welcome Caley!

We’re racing! The Solent delivers yet again but these incredible boats are so special. We’ve seen thousands of yachts and dinghies sailing these waters over the years but it’s quite emotional having the 6-Metres sailing on our course with our Club!

The weather isn’t being kind today so these beautiful yachts are staying safely moored for the afternoon. They are attracting admiring glances along the pontoon while their sailors enjoy some hospitality ashore. Forecast looks ideal tomorrow so watch out for some spectacular racing in the Western Solent later!
