For the past 20 years I have been a competitive runner and triathlete competing in all distances from 5k to Marathon distance as a runner and from sprint to Ironman distance as a Triathlete. I have also represented my age group in triathlon for Great Britain at the European Championships in 2010. 10 years ago I discovered Pilates and the benefits that can be gained to improve overall fitness and wellbeing regardless of age and level of fitness. So 7 years ago I decided to train as a Pilates instructor to preach what I had so long been practising!

Tomorrow (Friday 7th August) is the final day to vote in the British Fitness Awards, and voting closes at midnight.

I’m still pinching myself that I’ve been shortlisted in the Holistic Based Workout category. As a small, independent Pilates business, I’m up against some huge national brands, so every single vote really does count.

Introducing a new Beginners Pilates course in Lymm! 🏋️‍♀️

I am delighted to announce a brand-new four-week program, commencing on Wednesday, 5 August at 5:30pm at Lymm Youth Club.

This course is specifically designed for complete beginners, those returning after a break, and individuals who feel apprehensive about joining an established class.

No prior fitness or flexibility is required, as we will establish a solid foundation and progress gradually over the four weeks.

The course dates are 5 August, 12 August, 26 August, and 2 September, with no class on 19 August.

The complete four-week program is ÂŁ50, and all you need to bring is a mat.

This 45 minute session blends gentle stillness, guided visualisation, and high-vibration intention setting to help you align with your strongest, most sculpted self… without lifting a single muscle.

What to expect:
– Deep core visualisation of washboard abs and buttocks that could crack a nut
– Breathwork (mostly sighing and snoring)
– Occasional blinking (only if it feels right - this is a safe space)
