Skeen bags 8 at Mawdesley!

Our Australian bagged 8/23 in Saturday's big win away at Mawdesley, keeping the undefeated run in tact in the Palace Shield.

Skeen's haul also included his 100th wicket for the Lytham Cricket Club since singing in 2024.

Openshaw brings up 400 for Lytham Cricket Club!

We take three wins from a busy weekend of cricket, with the first, second and women's bringing home the points. A tough result in the T20 with a last ball loss to St Annes while the Sunday Thirds fell to Whittingham & Goosnargh.

Our Australian pair headline the individual highlights this weekend, with Nick Skeen bagging 8/23 vs Mawdesley and Archie Banks-Smith with a 4/fer and 30 runs in the T20 to go with 38 on Saturday.

Sahaan Sahaan again picking up 4 wickets, while Antony Mulligan and James Livesey took 5 each for the weekend.

With the bat, Guy Roberts (47) and Richard Openshaw (37*) were the highlights.

Good luck to our U15’s who play Torrisholme this Sunday at home at 9.30 am in the quarter finals of the ECB U15 National Club Championship!

Another milestone for Sahaan, taking 7/34 against Morecambe on Saturday.

An excellent weekend on the pitch as we bounce back from the previous round of cricket, with all three teams taking home the wins!

Archie Banks-Smith scored his first fifty for the club in the First XI, supported by Ryan Norris (46) to set up a convincing win at home to Morecambe. Sahaan Sahaan again doing the damage with the ball, taking 7/34.

The Second XI have again defended less than 150 to keep their league winning streak alive. Ray Baker (60) and Kyle Macaulay (29) rescued an early collapse to give the bowlers a target to defend.

Sunday was the women's turn, completing the winning weekend after cruising past Great Eccleston's score of 112. Kaine Davey topping the runs and Lisa Rawcliffe taking 4 wickets to help set up another win for the Ladies!

Squads for Saturday are in, with just the two games this weekend. Our First XI looking to bounce back at home to Morecambe while the Second XI return after the bye looking to keep their undefeated run in the league going.
