Our annual Lady Captain’s Charity Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness brought a sea of colour to our fairways as our members turned out in force to champion a cause close to so many hearts.

Following 12 holes of lively golf, members gathered in the clubhouse for a wonderful buffet lunch and charity raffle. Through the remarkable generosity of those who participated and donated, we raised more than £1,000 to support vital breast cancer charities.

A congratulations to this year’s winning team: Angie Parr, Alison Smith, Amanda Wilkinson, and Ellie Jakeman.

Thank you to our Lady Captain and every member who contributed to making the day such a resounding success.

We would love to see your highlights from the round and lunch in the comments! 📸👇

Championship conditions don’t happen by accident, they are built by hand, every single day. From dawn till dusk, come rain or shine, they set the standard for every round we play.

Long before the first tee time and well past sunset, our greenkeeping team crafts the pristine fairways, manicured greens, and bunker edges that make our course exceptional.

Next time you see the team out on the course, say hello and express your gratitude for their daily efforts in helping us all enjoy our wonderful game!

Junior Captain 2026, Master Harrison Cox

Members of all generations gathered yesterday for the annual Junior Captain’s Drive in & BBQ.

Harrison has represented the club impeccably throughout his year so far, raising money for the club’s charity, Brian House, with initiatives such as a Junior Bingo night and raffle.

Following the BBQ, pancakes were enjoyed by all supplied by our friends from Dutch Monkey who came down to support the event, with all proceeds going to Brian House.

It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating our amazing Junior Section, which concluded with a prize presentation for our competition winners; Kainen Kirkham and Past Captain Andy Cunningham.

Thank you to everyone who came down to support Harrison, and our Club.

Fairhaven members were honoured to support our neighbours, Royal Lytham & St Anne’s, in staging the 2026 AIG Women’s Open – the Championship’s 50th edition.

With more than 85 members volunteering and working across a wide range of roles, a small but meaningful contribution to the success of this year’s Championship was made. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, enthusiasm and expertise throughout.

We’d love to hear from volunteers and spectators of all generations. Whatever your role, please share your favourite memories and photos in the comments below.

We look forward to welcoming the golfing world back to the Fylde Coast in 2028 for the 156th Championship! ⛳

Congratulations, Jamie Van Wyk!

Everyone at Fairhaven is delighted to hear of Jamie’s success in this year’s English Amateur Championship. In doing so, he becomes the first member of Royal Lytham & St Anne’s to win the national championship since 1968.

As a popular friend of Fairhaven, we’re sure our members will join us in congratulating Jamie on this outstanding achievement. Well played, Jamie!
