Each year, our Seniors Section compete against our Ladies Section for the “Ryheim” Cup, an event established in recognition of two of the greatest team competitions in golf; and .

It was the narrowest of margins for our ladies, claiming the trophy with a score of 6.5 to 5.5, which was presented shortly after the presentation meal had been enjoyed.

The first Summer Fun Mixed Event of 2026 was opened in style with over 60 members from across all sections of our community coming together to enjoy great friendship, fantastic food, and a few tipples.

The competition was won by Lee-Anne Hall & Jim Connell, who narrowly pipped Lee Williams & Lauren Stacey after a card play off.

As overnight storms were superseded by a stunning links like day, it was the foursome of Angela Greenhalgh, Angela Heaton, Deborah Bell, and Tracy Aird who thundered through the field at lightening speed to claim first place our 2026 Ladies Invitation Day.

A glorious bank holiday weekend oversaw the staging of our 2026 Nightingale Trophy, a Member Mixed Foursomes Competition.

The occasion saw over 40 pairs take to the course, with partnerships of husband and wife, father and daughter, and fellow members.

It was the dynamic partnership of Jason Hannaford and Nicola Philbin, returning a fantastic score of 70 who took victory.

Runners up were Amanda and Anthony Holt with net 73, followed by Rob Le Breton and Linda Smith in 3rd after card play-off also with net 73.

Thank you to everyone who took part, making the event a true reflection of companionship that underpins our wonderful club.

Our next Men's Team of 4 Open is taking place on Sunday 24th May and only has 6 slots available.

With a forecast full of 🌞 this bank holiday weekend why not grab one of the slots and get your squad together!

The 42nd staging of the annual Greenhaven match took place on Sunday 10th May.

After a day of fantastic friendship, enjoyable golf and hospitality, it was Fairhaven who snuck the victory and sent Lytham Green Drive home with "the stick".

We look forward to seeing our friends at Lytham Green Drive in 2027.
