Boys - Henry
Henry's confidence has improved significantly since joining the club, and he bravely took part in his first Micro League gala in May. He continues to make great progress in both his technique and stamina. Henry is always willing to listen, take on feedback, and work hard to improve, which is reflected in the progress he is making in the pool 🏊🏼‍♂️🏊🏼‍♂️

Girls - Catherine
Catherine always arrives at training with a smile on her face, brings a positive attitude to every session. She listens carefully to coaches' instructions and has made fantastic progress and continues to improve week after week🏊🏼‍♀️🏊🏼‍♀️

A huge well done to all of our swimmers who competed in the final Swim League fixture today!

This was our first opportunity to compete in Swim League this year, and the team absolutely smashed it. With the odds stacked against us due to it being Kirkham Club Day and St Anne’s Pool being temporarily closed, our swimmers faced some incredibly strong competition but more than held their own. Not only that, we’ve yet again beaten our previous points, finishing the season on a high!

I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped out and took part, especially those who stepped in at the last minute. Your support and commitment made all the difference.

A special shout out to Adam, who has been working hard on his GCSEs, with his final exam coming up on Monday, yet still managed to produce an outstanding PB of 28.00 in the 50m Freestyle. What an achievement!

Thank you all once again. I’m incredibly proud of every swimmer who represented the club today.

Without volunteers like these giving up their time, completing training, and supporting not only our club but swim meets, days like today simply couldn't happen.

While our swimmers are in the pool racing, our officials are working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything runs safely, fairly and smoothly.

So a huge thank you to all three of you for always stepping up, and giving your time to support our swimmers.

WHAT A WEEKEND! 🎉

Today we headed to Knowsley for our second fixture in Micro League! We smashed our highest score yet with 178 points and 5 first place finishes 🥇

There were lots of PBs and brilliant swims from everyone!

I know we say it often, but what this team is achieving whilst only training 1–2 times a week at the moment is absolutely extraordinary. This club has faced so much adversity with 2 pool closures yet these swimmers continue to show incredible team spirit, determination, and resilience every single time!

I’m so proud of all of them, especially those competing for the very first time today!

And of course… a McDonald's trip to celebrate afterwards! 🍟🍔
