Today was up there with one of the best performances of the season so far and each and every player contributed. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort these boys put in week in week out 🔥

In possession we attacked with pace, power and quality and defensively we looked solid.

Today’s MoM went to AJ who defended from the front particularly in the second half, he even took one (maybe 2) balls the face which only seem to spur him on to run harder and close down the defenders quicker!! His doggedness got him a couple of assists aswell!! Well done A! 🏆

⭐️Managers Minutes - YMCA vs Staining Windmills⭐️

Today was an amazing performance from the lads, excellent teamwork and not letting up throughout the game. 🔥 A major positive today was every player saw some success with all outfield players getting on the score sheet and RE picking up his first clean sheet of the season!! ⚽️🧤

All the lads pulled together selflessly trying to get everyone on the score sheet and some disciplined defending ensured the first clean sheet of the season. Excellent effort, attitude and passing play on display today.

Today’s MoM went to BA who put a shift in up and down the pitch, and topped off his hatrick with a long range effort!! 🏆

⭐️ Managers Minutes - YMCA vs Thornton Cleveleys Pumas ⭐️

What an amazing start to the season for the boys who all gave 100% effort and topped off with an incredible performance 🔥

Today was a fantastic battle against a very well organised side and every single player put in a dominating performance with impressive attacking and a tidy defence.

Today’s MoM 🏆 went to RP, who picked up his first goal for the Oranges after several close calls in preseason. He was a rock at the back in his defensive role creating a solid base for the team to attack! Well done ⚽️ ⭐️

Good luck to our amazing Oranges as we start the brand new season tomorrow with our first U8s match in the Blackpool and District Youth Football League⚽️ Let’s put into action all of the great work in training and friendlies over the summer🔥 We hope all the players have a fantastic season and lots of fun!

⭐️Mangers Minutes YMCA vs West Coast Sports Lions ⭐️

Today was simply a fantastic team performance, every single lad tried his heart out and gave it their all in an exciting game with lots of chances!

We are beginning to see some green shoots from what we have been working on in training with some slick passing both getting the team out of danger and also creating some really good chances. Notable mention to GH today who played a pivotal role with another super confident and dynamic performance ⚽️

MoM today was RE who has been listening to my coaching last couple of weeks and put together all of the things we have been working on today. Made some great saves and important decisions when needed. Well done!🏆⭐️

A super sunny Saturday at Seafield Road for the boys this week. A tough game against a well organised team but the boys tried their best and had a few nice goals and some good set pieces.

Well done to our MoM this week ZH! Some great passing this week ZH was working hard to create chances for himself and his team mates⚽️ It was also nice to see ZH being brave and getting stuck in with his tackling, closely marking the opposition and running to win the ball back for his team. Well done Z ⭐️🏆

⭐️Managers Minutes - YMCA vs Poulton Ultras⭐️

It was great to finally give the away kit a run out in 2025 against our friends Poulton Ultras. Another tough day at the office today, but a fantastic effort from the super 6 we had!! The boys gave their all and showed some excellent defending skills and bagged a couple of great goals!

Stand out performances from GH and BA today, resulted in a shared MoM award.

GH was relentless in defence today not giving the opposition a seconds rest and snuffing out lots of their dangerous attack. His defence partner BA shared the accolade with a selfless performance sacrificing his usual attack threat for defensive responsibilities.

A tough day at the office today, we came up against a well organised BJFF team. That said the boys gave a really good account for themselves matching BJFF every step of the way!! The boys give 100% week in week out

TT was stand out today and picked up the MoM award!! Dominating the opposition and matching their combative style! Actively stepping out from defence to win position back for his team mates!! 🏆⭐️
