💙🤍⚽ U15s SATURDAY | FIRST GAME BACK! ⚽🤍💙

Maghull FC U15s 3–4 FGS Seville

Not the result we wanted in our first game of the season, but plenty of positives from the girls in their brand-new kits! 💪⚽

We started brightly, played some really positive football and took the lead early on. A few mistakes allowed FGS back into it and we went into half-time 3–2 down.

The girls kept playing, kept battling and never gave up, pushing right until the final whistle. Unfortunately, it finished 4–3, but there were loads of encouraging performances to build on! 👏

A great game of football this evening as we brought our pre-season friendlies to an end! 🙌

Some fantastic football on show from the girls, with plenty of positives to take as we get ready for the new season. 💪⚽️

Now all eyes turn to Saturday, when we kick off our season against FGS Seville 🔥

We’re really looking forward to the season ahead and can’t wait to see what this group can achieve together. 💙

⚽️ PRE-SEASON RESULT ⚽️

💙🤍💛 Maghull U15s 4–2 Burscough U14s 💛🤍💙

A brilliantly contested game this morning as we continued our pre-season preparations.

A quick change of venue didn’t stop either team from getting the ball down and playing some fantastic passing football. There were also some outstanding saves from both goalkeepers throughout! 🧤👏

Burscough took the lead to make it 1–0, but Maghull responded just before half-time to send the teams in level at the break.

The second half brought more of the same — great football, excellent saves and some brilliantly taken goals. ⚽️🔥

Both teams should be extremely proud of their performances this morning. Most importantly, both sets of girls were an absolute credit to their clubs. 👏💙

⚽ FULL TIME | FRIENDLY ⚽

Maghull U15s 3–3 Rainhill Jets

Great to be back! 💙🤍💛

Our first friendly after a few weeks off gave the girls a great opportunity to get some minutes in the legs and work on formations ahead of the new season.

Despite having the majority of the play, we found ourselves 2–0 down early on. The girls responded brilliantly to fight back to 2–2.

Rainhill then edged ahead again at 3–2, but we finished strongly and got the deserved equaliser to make it 3–3.

The girls moved the ball around really well and looked sharp both on and off the ball. Plenty of positives to take forward and lots to build on over the coming weeks. 👏⚽

We’re looking forward to more friendlies before the season gets underway in September!

The Girls smashing it 🏆
Another trophy win a few weeks back at the Girls Festival of Football in Wigan. Brilliant performances all day from the girls. A couple of defeats in the group stages didn’t get them down. They showed determination and resilience to win the Europa final 1-0.
