Chloe has been part of the team since 2010. In this time she has completed a L3 Extended National Diploma in Horse Management & Care achieving a Distinction*. She then went on to study Law with Criminology LLB at Nottingham Trent University achieving a 2:1.

Chloe has remained a part of the team throughout her studies. She has recently acquired her own young horse Charlie (pictured below). She bought him as an unbroken 3yr old and between herself and help from team members he is now in full work and coming along well.

Chloe enjoys the day to day routines of the yard and general horse care. Having done a lot of work with her own horse she enjoys a challenge and improving a horse’s way of going both on the ground and in the saddle.

Having Chloe as part of the team for nearly 10 years has been such a pleasure and we feel very lucky to have her.

Our amazing boss lady 💓

Ok, maybe just one more today...

Julia Tilley...

Julia set up Chalfont valley equestrian in 2000... she continued to expand the business and make a fantastic success of it.

Julia has a real passion for eventing and has in more recent years, discovered an interest and real talent for teaching. Julia is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable and helps every rider get the best from their horse. Julia is an accomplished horsewoman, pictured here with her youngster, Mouse, who she hopes to continue to event next year - we think he’s going to be a cracker!

Julia treats her staff like family and in return, her staff give her their all. Chalfont valley equestrian has always been about helping people really enjoy their hobby, in whatever way they wish and equally, Julia helps get the best out of her staff... shhhh, don’t tell her, but we think she’s the best Boss going!! 🤫🤫🤫

Jess has been riding since she was 4 and has had horses of her own since she was 14.
She graduated in 2012 with her bachelors degree from Writtle Agricultural College with a 2.1 in Equine Science and Business Management.
Jess came to work at Chalfont Valley in 2012. She took a couple of years out to work as an estate agent but she couldn’t stay away for long and came back full time in 2016.
Jess loves schooling and jumping our full liveries and has produced a number of her own horses and ponies during her time here.

Jess thrives in every aspect of the job and is always on hand to share her knowledge and experience.

A little story of how we have made it to Barge! You’ll see that our old yard was also fabulous 🤗

24/10/2019

👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽 Hey guys. We will introduce you all properly in good time.

But for now, check out our other yard we are teamed up with in Seer Green.

Give them a like/Follow also! 👍🏻

We work closely together to provide the best care everywhere we can 🤗

Chalfont Valley Equestrian was founded in 2000 by Julia Tilley in Chalfont st Giles. We’ve recently relocated across 2 fantastic new facilities - but not to worry, all of our wonderful liveries have come with us to one of our 2 new locations... and the same fantastic staff offering the same 5* star care!

Some of our clients and colleagues are based at Barge Farm in taplow and the others are here with us at Oldefields in seer green.

Photos and updates to come, so give us a follow to keep up to date with lots of exciting things in the near future...

Who wants a sneak peak of our barn? 👀

As we have been so busy setting up and keeping our demanding horses happy, we haven’t had much time to take many pictures of the barn.

BUT ... here’s what’s we can show you so far ....

24/10/2019

OUR BRAND NEW MASSIVE ARENA is underway!! Yay 🤗🤗

Here at barge we have officially started our brand new arena. We estimate this will be completed within 4-6 weeks from now.

We are really excited about this particular arena as we are able to split it into a dressage arena and a jumping arena all at one time!

We will soon be holding clinics and allowing arena hire!

Keep your eyes peeled for updates 👀👀👀👀

We have only been here just short of 2 months at Barge and we have already found some amazing hacking and views 🤗

24/10/2019

Welcome to our new page!

As most of you know, but some of you don’t, we have had to recently relocate due to disruption to our previous yard.

Our aim has always been to help people to enjoy their hobby and to keep their horses in a relaxed and happy environment. We have an experienced team on hand with some horses and owners that have been with us from day one.

We are a friendly mixed yard from eventers to weekend hacks, retired horses to horses on holiday, resting, recuperating and broodmares with foals.

We are based on the fabulous Barge Farm Estate and have therefore acquired ample onsite hacking as well as access to great bridle paths!

Give us a follow to keep up to date with the progress of the yard, vacancies and events here at Barge!
