Open water swims in the River Thames at Maidenhead. Saturday 4th July 2026
Visit www.boulterstobrayswim.org Here's your chance to experience it first-hand...

Dating back to the 1800s, when it was known as the 'Long Swim', this swim has now been resurrected by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The race course itself, running from Boulter's Lock in Maidenhead to the Waterside Inn at Bray, is one of the most beautiful stretches of the River Thames.
