The first run was held in 1953 and has been every year with the exceptions of enforced cancellations in 2001 (Foot and Mouth epidemic) and 2021/2022 (Coronavirus Pandemic).

The transfer deadline for the Maidenhead Easter 10 has now passed. We are processing the received requests at the moment.
The deferrals deadline is Thursday, 17th April 2025. Please contact the team at [email protected] before the deadline to ensure your place in the 2026 Maidenhead Easter 10 can be noted.
We have a limited number of on-the-day entries available. Please arrive at 7.30am and head to the registration tent to get your hands on one of the entries and avoid disappointment.

The Maidenhead Easter 10 is a popular 10 mile race on Good Friday on rural roads and paths around Maidenhead and attracts fun runners, high quality athletes looking for a rare chance at this distance and spring marathon runners looking for that perfect sharpener a few weeks before their race. A couple of high profile marshals have been known to show their faces too!
In addition, there is the Maidenhead Easter Mile (1600m) for older children (School Years 5-8) at 08:45 and the Maidenhead Easter Half Mile (800m) for younger children (Reception to Year 4) at 08:30.
