Maidenhead Squash

Yesterday we ran a Winter Maidenhead Squash Tournament at Braywick Leisure Centre, following on from the Summer Tournament in June 2022. It was another successful event and it was once again good to see some of the Maidenhead Squash community of all levels come together and enjoy playing and watching Squash.

We ran 3 mini tournaments across the day catering to all abilities.

So who feels ready to go and play once Magnet reopens?

Fellow Players, please note that due to the current situation with the Coronavirus the Maidenhead Squash League end date for this current season has been extended by 2 weeks through until Saturday 11th April to allow for various issues including self-isolation and other general issues around this that may exclude players from being readily available to play.

As you will note, for now we have decided to keep the league running and not suspend it as the Magnet Leisure Centre at this time remains open.

It is of course fully appreciated that should players not wish to play their games then that is absolutely fine and understandable.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidelines and should anything further change we will notify you.

The entire league situation will be reviewed and discussed by the committee ahead of the next league roll-over date and we will decide how best to proceed based on the current situation at that time and mindful of how many and which games have and have not been played.
