Hi all. Another apology needed. I managed to go live, as planned, but did nothing else on my list of things I was aiming for last week.
My health took another turn, which meant every time I got up from the floor, I felt like I was going to pass out. π€¦ββοΈwent to the doctors, and they've organised blood tests and an ecg for me next week to hopefully get some idea of what's causing this.
I don't think it's anything major, but it is annoying for sure! Thank you to those who have stuck around, I do appreciate your continued patience with the delays in everything i try to offer. I'm so sorry. π also to

Happy Monday, friends ! I hope you have a great day β€οΈ things might look at little different this week- nothing too crazy. I will be going live tonight- a test to see what Facebook has done with videos. I'll probably just be chatting at you for a few minutes π
Other things I have planned:
π§‘Food pictures ( what a surprise)
π studying- getting started on my fitness pilates personal training course
π€ exercise- several sessions for myself and if the live works well, maybe I can share a workout with you in my group.

Those of you who've been here for a while might remember the original 100 reps sessions. Put myself through one today ( probably a bit mad in this heat but I needed to move) i had this idea of bringing them back once I'm online again - today I used dumbbells and kettlebells. Bodyweight movements are fine too . Is this something you'd be interested in?

More on the enormous pot I cooked yesterday. I've got this coming week off from my day job. I REALLY wanted to use up some peanut butter that's been in the cupboard for ages and had a craving for a peanut butter curry. After finding a recipe that wasn't astronomical in terms of calories i made it.
This is a sweet potato and peanut butter curry. Not my recipe, can definitely share the recipe with you in the comments π 6 decent portions- as expected which will go nicely with rice or half a free from naan depending on the day.
I wanted to film the Pilates reel today but that will wait until later in the week- maybe tomorrow.

Top tip for today. If you're using a food diary app to log your food intake- check, check and triple check what you're logging. Particularly if it's a recipe import like this monster of a meal! ( more on the contents of this saucepan later)
I found the recipe on the Internet, decided it was nutritionally sound and fitted my limits for a meal. When to import the recipe and the app I use was telling me the recipe was double the calories from the original. Changed the coconut milk to light coconut milk, still way off. Scouring the ingredient list i found it had tried to log garam masala spice as one of it's own complete meals π
Panic over and plans for the week are back on track! Always pays to check you're happy with what the technology is saying and it's accurate.

I saw this earlier whilst scrolling and thought it was worth sharing . Carbohydrates get a bad name but they're a great source of energy.
This infographic shows why it's useful to look at your food in depth sometimes and this shows the humble potato is a brilliant source of vitamins and minerals.
I β€οΈ potatoes- a bowl of roasties and gravy and I'm a happy girl π not the healthiest I know.

My top tip for today- do a bit of research.
So I have pretty much exhausted all the nice looking recipes on my food diary app so went trawling through my saved recipe reels on Facebook. Saw this divine looking Creamy Harissa chickpeas recipe from the Bosh boys. Thought, yes, I'll make it. Started uploading it into my app and realised it was 900cals per serving! π
That's before they added pitta and humous to serve it with!
Can't afford that in my calorie budget for 1 meal!
I went to Pinterest and that's where i found the version I made. From the brilliant Elavegan .
This version, along with lighter humous and half a pitta ( not included in her recipe) comes out at just under 500.
If you're counting calories and trying to recompose your body ( avoiding the phrases that will get reach restricted, for obvious reasons) it sometimes pays to do a bit of research. I'm trying to stay in a deficit so I needed to find a lighter version but if you're doing a bulk, the 900cals version might suit you better π
No reel this weekend as I've been needing to rest a bit more due to the fibromyalgia causing 2 falls in the space of a week π
I've got an idea for the next one though- it'll be quite familiar to those who've done Pilates class with me.
