Playing games in your sessions either for warming up or at the end of the sessions is a fantastic way to get and keep engagement and focus through your lessons.

When teaching or coaching sport making drills fun and competitive games is a fantastic way of increasing engagement from your students.

In today's video I teach you how to do a footwork game, having the students maintain their boxing shape moving around and then having to stay out the way of the one trying to tag them. The students enjoy this drill, find it competitive and think they are playing a game. However in reality they are doing a skill development drill which is adding to their skillset. Practising the basics over and over is key to development in any sport!
