Jill at Zumba Maidstone

I’ve finally accepted that I probably won’t be teaching Zumba again and cancelled my instructor membership (perhaps it was filling in the 2020 tax return and realising that I can’t afford to keep paying the monthly fee just in case!)

I’m fit and well but heading for a hip replacement and although I may well be able to attend Zumba classes once it has healed I can’t be the crazy one at the front anymore xx

I have loved every second I spend as a Zumba instructor and enjoyed passing that love on to all of my students and especially the ones who became instructors themselves cos they loved it so much # # #

Keep wiggling and I’ll hopefully see you at back in the naughty corner xx

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE UPDATE:

Unfortunately Government have clarified that gyms aren’t included in businesses that can open July 4th so this may be pushed back to mid July. I will keep you updated as I hear more....

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Maidstone Leisure Centre are planning a very limited reopening of gym and some studio classes from 4th July. Not all classes will run straight away but they will be held in the large hall to allow space between participants.
Some outdoor classes / boot camp workouts will also be added.
I will let you know when we find out when Zumba classes are restarting.

I’m thinking of running some virtual zumba classes and need a few volunteers with different tablets or phones or pcs to work out which app is best to stream on - is anyone interested?

Unfortunately due to issues which have delayed completion of the new floor at MLC, Studio 1 classes are affected for another week. Zumba on Monday 23rd March is cancelled.

MLC 10.30 Zumba on Monday 16th March is cancelled as the floor is being relaid - other Studio 1 classes between 10th - 18th March are also being moved or cancelled while the work takes place - please check with centre directly for details of changes x

MLC MONDAY MORNING CREW....

I’m back and managed to ski without any injuries or problems but the journey home has caused a flare up in my back pain so Cherry is covering tomorrow’s class - have fun xx

News for MLC Tuesday night crew.... after speaking to my consultant surgeon last week I have reached the tough decision that I can no longer continue to teach Zumba on the concrete floor in Studio 2 due to the risk of worsening my back.

I will be there tonight but after Christmas Lou will take over if the class has to remain in studio 2

This might be my last Tuesday (except for holiday cover) so come along if you can x

I will still teach the Monday morning class so if you are off work next week come and join us x
