New one for me after 12 years of repairing bikes professionally and 28 years of riding and fixing bikes. These chainring 'female' bolt sections cracked along there length. Everyday bikes throw up a new way to cause customers problems. But the service meant they were found and replaced before any damage or injury was sustained.

Rich Sherman Performance Servicing will be closed from the 11th of May until the 8th of June 2026. Disc Rotors are one of the least cared for parts of bikes but if your disc rotors resemble these that have now been removed from a bike it's time you get them swapped. Excessive wear can lead to failure, causing injury or possibly worse for the rider and others
