Sarries and Quins U16s academies played yesterday.

With both teams fielding two teams, Monty was chuffed to be picked and play for the first team. Who romped home 70-21.

Monty turned up at Stone-X today, expecting to play for Hertfordshire again but had a nice surprise when he found out he’s been moved up to the Saracens Academy.
The photo below is him after playing the whole match.
Let’s hope he can keep his spot.

Three ex Tabard players (Asher, Monty & Matei) attended the Saracens U16 combined DPP, County PDG & Saracens PDG residential rugby camp.

Taken today!
Matei and Monty decided to wear their old Tabard kit on the third and last day of a Saracens 3 day residential camp.
Those tops fit better now than when they wore them circa 3 years ago.

Quite a few ex Tabard boys at OAs this Sunday morning, where Fullers played OAs in the U16s and OAs played Finchley in the U15s.

Well done to ex Tabard players Monty and Asher for being picked from the Saracens DPP [developing player programme] group (circa 150 boys) for the Saracens PDG [Player Development Group] group (23 boys).

Well done also to Matei, for being nominated by Harpenden to join the Saracens DPP.

Today saw ex Tabard boys everywhere.
Monty and Alex played against James and Asher in a fantastic County Cup match which finished Fullers 17 - OAs 17.
Then we watched Tabard colts play Fullers colts at Fullers and we bumped into Obie and Spence.
Coached by the boys first coach Chris Collison and the colts featured three old team mates, Finn Spencer, Dylan Cross and Ben Collison.
We’re off to the hospital to get Monty’s finger (he thinks he broke it yesterday playing basketball) and nose (might have broken it in the match today) x-rayed.

Ed, Monty & Will, visited Tabard on Sunday morning.

Monty and Ed bumped into each other at Pizza Express Radlett.

These boys really are a rugby family and I don’t think that will ever change.
