In the context of biosecurity, "spread by touch" refers to both direct contact (skin-to-skin or animal-to-animal) and indirect contact via contaminated objects, clothing, boots and helmets.

🧽Strangles is 100% contagious. Please do not visit other yards and then come to my yard without fully disinfecting yourself and anything that you were wearing or took from there.

🤠If you are unsure about how to do this, please WhatsApp the Riding school and I can help you. It’s really important that everyone is open and honest about what contact they have had with other horses. Strangles is really horrendous and would be heartbreaking seeing my Horses suffer from this horrific disease🦠

Robert learnt to ride with my Mother and I on our ponies and horses. Speaking to him this December he said "it all started with you"
It's so exciting to see his progress and read more about his journey. Riding schools play a large part in the future of horse riding. My family has always aimed to teach riders to be kind, learn to feel the horse and develop themselves to get improvements. This form of riding is difficult but more stimulating and rewarding than kick and pull. But here, with good foundations and the correct mindset, it sets the rider up to take tuition and develop into a star.
My mother's riding school has been a large part of the Suffolk/Cambridge riders' journey for 40 years. I aim for Sains Hall to make a positive impact on the current and future riders in Essex as well.
