Happy Bikers, Happy Peoples...Bikes and Barges just can't help putting a smile on everyone's face

Everyone remembers the bands but, events like these are held together with ambient, punctuation and downright 'get down' tunes, skillfully selected and presented by the DJ. DJ Chunky Munky alias, the ever smiling and all round good fella, Nick Chatten. Like most other contributors to Bikes and Barges, Nick DJs for us, for no charge, letting us raise the maximum amount for our charity, SWANS. You can't go far wrong in considering Nick for your own events, parties and weddings. Check his site at www.djchunkymunky.co.uk Cheers Nick

Check our photo gallery and take a look at MISCHIEF. the Band MISCHIEF played two incredible sets at Bikes and Barges and set the place alight. Check on our own LIKES to find MISCHIEF and check them out. They performed for us Free of Charge to help us raise vital funds for SWANS, so take the time to go and look them up.

What a great day! July 1st 2012 was definitely a day to remember for all that attended the Bikes and Barges 2012.

The best ever Bikes and Barges this time, and a record breaking fundraising sum for SWANS, all due to our guests' and visitors' generosity and on their behalf, AHCC pats you all on the back.

Thanks for coming along, bringing along your amazing bikes to join us on the quay for a superb day, listening to fantastic live music sets, complemented by Chunky Monkey's turntables of righteousness on the DJ stand.

An incredible display of Custom built bikes raised a lot of interest all round, and congratulations to Lee for being selected for the best in the Show by our presiding official, Maldon's MP, John Whittingdale.

We'll be in the dark room sorting out our best pictures and will make them available to you as we go; in the meantime, feel free to show us yours on here .

Once again, we thank you all for your support.....helpers, crew, musicians, fetchers and carriers, and of course our very welcome guests. Good one !!
