Last weekend was a 16 hour 1st aid course, highlighting working in the outdoors. As kayak coaches and leaders are required to update this every 3 years.

I’ve not posted anything of late. Here’s a few things I’ve been doing during the winter. Taking advantage of the wind, some solos, good food on beaches, a few fixes and repairs.

Nice paddle out the estuary with the ebb and back with the flood today. On the way back a fishing boat marked YH80 checked in on me to see if I was ok, as “you don’t get paddlers out this far normally” nice guys, thank you.

When there’s no room left for a paddle because there’s too many boats on the wave.
