Malpas FC Juniors

Malpas u12s travelled to Chester Nomads Colts looking to follow up their opening win of the season last week. Malpas were missing new goalkeeper BW so NH stepped back into goal for the Reds.

Malpas started strong and opened the the scoring through JV whose determination and powerful shot went into the far corner.
NH gave a solid performance back in goal and his distribution led a great run from EW down the left and a back post finish from RK made it 2-0 at half time.

A few changes were made to the team and after the break the goals continued through the excellent RL, an unfortunate OG and then TW added a fifth to put the icing on the cake to a terrific performance.

Outstanding performance on the day though goes to ARPG. A solid display at right back, strong tackling and good distribution of the ball.
Opposition player of the match went to EW down our left wing and coaches player to SS who is settling in well to his new team and played well in a number of roles.

Thanks to all the parents for their support and it’s back to the sports club next week for a game against Tarporley.

SUPER SUNDAY ⚽️ our U13s made it 2 wins out of 2 with an emphatic 5-0 win over Newton Reds.

The boys started off on the front foot with some fabulous football before WR broke the deadlock with a left footed screamer.

He soon made it 2-0 with a fantastic free kick from the right hand side and placing it in opposite corner of the goal.

OLW made it 3-0 just before the break, getting his rewards for some excellent pressing and closing down.

OLW got his second just after half time with a brilliant turn and first time volleyed finish.

WR then went on a driving run before squaring the ball perfectly across the box for MBH to neatly finish off.

The football today from our U13s was outstanding today and the defensive unit got their rewards today with a well deserved clean sheet.

Next week the boys will be on their travels to Waverton.

U11s Malpas Vs Little Sutton Tigers

📣What a performance from the lads yesterday — from first whistle to last, Malpas were on the front foot, stretching the pitch and causing problems down both wings all game long.

Early dominance from the wide areas CH and HH were fantastic out wide — clever positioning, sharp passing, and both getting themselves on the scoresheet.

First‑half impact from AD & WS on the wings, then both stepped up by taking turns in goal during the second half. WS capped it off with a well‑taken goal too.

Good performance at the back from FD, keeping things calm and composed in goal in the first half, then slotted into defence seamlessly after the break.

Alongside WC and WM, the back line was organised, and smart with their clearances — feeding the wingers with passes down the line.

JM was his usual energetic self leading the line — pressing, chasing, battling and grabbing another goal for his tally.

Our newly formed U8 blacks team were at home today against Upton jaguars . A tight affair but it was Upton that came away with the victory.
HM and JD got themselves on the scoresheet for Malpas

Our U8s reds took the points this morning in their Home match vs Tarporley .
In a hard fought game it was Malpas that made the breakthrough and then added to their tally with goals from CE and ASW.
Opposition POTM also went to CE.

The under 13s got off to a winning start yesterday vs Newton.

After a tense first half where both teams played some excellent football and had plenty of chances, it was Malpas who broke the deadlock through a debut strike from CW.
Malpas were soon 2 up through a smart finish from FC and a third was added after a defensive mix up from MBH.
Newton pulled one back and had some good chances to stay in the game, Malpas also missing a few at the other end.
A fantastic first game of the season ⚽️👊🏻

Congrats to CW and MBH for making their Malpas debuts.

Our new U6s group started training on Sunday and what a great session had by all. Everyone enjoyed it and the feedback from parents was fantastic. Great to see all the players having so much fun and enjoying themselves.
