A big thank you to coach Sam after 18 months with KKZ.

Alongside finishing his Maths degree and playing for Bala, he’s been a massive part of the coaching team, helping so many players improve with his knowledge, detail and attitude every single week.

Now he’s off to Singapore after signing for Hougang United to give full time football a proper go.

It’s been a pleasure to watch Ruben’s journey from a young age.

He first came to us years ago for outfield sessions alongside his goalkeeping work, and since then has gone on to become a goalkeeper at both Liverpool and Everton Academy as well as earning England camp call ups.

Now he’s back with us completing his work experience, and it’s great to have him involved.

This May half term we’re running a 3-day football camp at Bronte Youth Centre in Liverpool City Centre – convenient, accessible, and led by UEFA Licensed Coaches.

Designed to help young players improve their skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy the game in a structured environment.

Today we officially cleared out the KKZ Performance Centre ahead of tomorrow’s final handover, and walking out after emptying the space made everything feel very real.

That place held a lot of memories. So many people walked through those doors to train, improve themselves, support each other and become part of the community that made KKZ what it was. To everyone who trained there or supported us along the way, thank you. You helped build something special.

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered help, or supported us over the past few days. It genuinely means a lot. A special thank you to the people who helped us move everything out and to those who have kindly allowed us to use storage while we figure the next steps out. That support hasn’t gone unnoticed and we’re incredibly grateful.

The good news is this isn’t the end. We’ve secured an interim training space and sessions will continue outdoors while we prepare for the next chapter. Our aim is to keep things running with as little disruption as possible and maintain the same level of coaching and service you expect from us.

For the time being, bookings will be done manually. If you’d like to book a session, please message us directly and we’ll get you sorted.

The location may have changed for now, but the standards, the work and the community stay exactly the same. We keep moving forward together.

What a way to finish camp 🏅⚽

So proud of every single child for the effort, energy, and attitude they showed from start to finish. This is what football is all about, learning, confidence, and enjoying the game with your mates.

Thank you to all the parents for the trust and support, and a huge thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped make the camp possible. We couldn’t do it without you.

Just want to say a massive congratulations to everyone who’s been selected to join us at the free half term camp ⚽

We had loads of entries, so thank you to everyone who took part. All names were picked fairly using a random name picker, and the 25 selected players are on screen now.

If you’ve been chosen, please drop us a message to confirm your attendance. If we don’t hear back, places will be offered to others.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the KKZ Performance Centre for two great days of football, fun, competition and opportunity.
