๐Ÿšจ Speed Enforcement Update ๐Ÿšจ

๐Ÿ“… Earlier today (Tuesday 4th August 2026) PC 23117 Munro from C Shift, Malvern & PC 3879 Stanley from the Kempsey & Alfrick Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out speed enforcement on the A44, Broadwas and Suckley Road, Bransford, following concerns raised by local residents about speeding traffic.

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ The good news is that the vast majority of motorists were adhering to the 30mph speed limit. Thank you to everyone driving responsibly and helping to keep our communities safe. A small number of drivers were found to be exceeding the speed limit and may be hearing from us in due course.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป We also have some positive news regarding the A4103 at Leigh Sinton. Works are progressing well and the road is currently on track to reopen earlier than planned, with completion expected by Friday or Saturday this week.

CHARGED | Man charged after indecent exposure on Malvern Hills

A 32-year-old man has been charged with several offences following an indecent exposure incident on the Malvern Hills on Sunday (2 August).

Suleman Hussain, 32, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of exposure and one count of s*x-based harassment - on account of a personโ€™s s*x use threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress.

The charges relate to an incident near Black Hill car park.

Hussain is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 4 August).

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a report that a man indecently exposed himself to a woman on the Malvern Hills.

The incident happened near Black Hill Car Park today (Sunday 2 August) at 2.30pm, where a man was reported to have approached a woman, before taking his clothes off and ma********ng.

The woman immediately left the area and called police. A man, aged 32, was arrested near the scene on suspicion of indecent exposure and remains in police custody.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly a woman who helped the victim not long after the incident occurred. The woman is not involved in the incident but could be a key witness to help with enquiries.

Wanted Malvern Man Arrested

๐Ÿšจ This afternoon at 3pm, while carrying out targeted Pro-active Cycle patrols, PCSO Kev Tudge and PCSO Becky Bullock of the Pickersleigh and Chase Safer Neighbourhood Police Team, located a 44 year old Malvern Man who was wanted on warrant for failing to appear in Court.

The man was sighted in the Barnards Green area of Malvern, ๐Ÿ‘ฎ ๐Ÿ‘ฎ C Shift Officers attending the location swiftly to arrest the man and take him into custody.

๐Ÿš Multi-Agency Response on the Malvern Hills ๐Ÿš

โ›ฐ๏ธ This afternoon, emergency services responded to an incident on the Malvern Hills after a paraglider fell to the ground and sustained injuries requiring medical treatment.

๐Ÿš” A multi-agency response involving the Air Ambulance, Ambulance Service, Fire Service and Police attended the scene to ensure the casualty received the urgent care needed. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all involved, the patient was treated at the scene before being airlifted to hospital by the Air Ambulance for further medical care.

๐Ÿ™Œ We would like to thank members of the public for their patience while emergency services worked in the area and wish the injured person a full and speedy recovery.

MISSING | Have you seen Stefan?

Officers are searching for Stefan Szwarnowski who has been reported missing from Worcester.

The 46-year-old was last seen at Worcester Royal Hospital around 7.45pm on Friday (24 July).

Stefan is 6ft tall, he has long brown hair and brown and grey facial hair.

He has links to Malvern and Worcester.

SENTENCED | A persistent shoplifter from Malvern was given a suspended sentence for multiple offences when he appeared at court on Saturday (25 July).

Declan Wharton, 34, of no fixed abode, was located and arrested by PC Matthew Waite on Friday (24 July) before being charged and remanded for nine theft from shop offences.

Wharton appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Saturday where those nine and another six theft from shop offences were also dealt with.

He was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay total compensation of ยฃ1,369.

PC Waite said: โ€œWharton targeted multiple stores across the town, so we were pleased to locate, charge and remand him for these offences. Though his sentence was suspended, if he appears before the courts again, he could be facing a custodial term.

โ€œMalvern Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to target our most prolific offenders that cause the most harm and loss to Malvernโ€™s retail shops and businesses.โ€

CAN YOU HELP? | We are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Welland, Malvern on Saturday (25 July) evening.

The collision occurred at 7.25pm on Drake Street and involved a Renault Clio and a Volvo XC40.

The Clio is believed to have been travelling along Drake Street from the direction of Upton upon Severn towards Ledbury and the Volvo travelled in the opposing direction.

The driver of the Clio and front seat passenger sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital. The Volvo driver and passenger were not seriously injured.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision, who may have seen the vehicles or may have CCTV or dashcam footage are encouraged to get in touch.

๐Ÿš” A Busy Weekend for Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team ๐Ÿš”

It has been a busy weekend for officers across Malvern, working hard to keep our communities safe, visible and supported.

๐Ÿ‘ฎ Officers have been carrying out high-visibility patrols at a number of local events, including the Welland Steam Rally and the Three Counties Food & Drink Festival, engaging with visitors, organisers and local residents while helping to ensure everyone enjoyed the events safely.

๐Ÿš“ We have also conducted reassurance and traffic patrols across the area, including diversion routes along the A4103 around Leigh Sinton, and Great Malvern town centre, addressing community concerns and maintaining a visible police presence.

๐Ÿ›’ Working closely with local retailers, officers arrested a prolific shoplifter responsible for numerous theft offences across stores in Malvern. Following court proceedings on Saturday, the offender received a 20-week suspended prison sentence.
