Manor Park Outdoor Bowls Club

The Morgan shield got underway last night with the 10 question mini quiz afterwards. A returning Alan Hare won the quiz and the drinks were on me.

(Morgan shield is a Friday evening roll up. 14 ends, points accumulate through the season and the eventual winner has the most points). If members just want to play for fun, come along anyway). 🙂

We are looking forward to welcoming players old and new to the start of the Lawn bowls season in April.
Please join us on our opening day on Saturday 11th April from 2.30pm -5.00pm.
New bowlers welcome. Come and have a chat with our friendly club members and find out more about the game.
Flat soled shoes are required if you would like to have a go.

Both Manor Park Red team and Manor Park Amber team have been promoted from Division 2 to Division 1 of the Les Thomas Triples League for 2026

Well done to everyone who bared the heat and played in the Doug Thurston today and congratulations to the ‘The Who’ (Alan T, Jean S, Stacey & John M) and ‘The Stones’ (Vicky, Paul H, Andy H & Tony W) who will play off for the trophy at finals weekend in September.

Great afternoon playing Briton Ferry Touring Team. We lost on all rinks but they were a lot younger than us 😂
