🌟Maintaining My PGA Accredited Status! 🌟
I’m proud to share that I’ve successfully maintained my PGA Accredited Status from The PGA. This recognition reflects my continued commitment to CPD and professional excellence within the golf industry so I can continue to deliver high quality learning experiences for my clients.🏌️‍♀️

It is great that The PGA acknowledges the hard work that goes into keeping our knowledge and skills up to date along with my opportunity to grow and evolve every year. It makes sure I hold myself to high standards and continued education so I can make an impact on and off the course.

CPD nowadays can take many forms so learning is engaging and relevant to the job role. This year some of my CPD has included:
✨ Taking part in research around women’s health
✨ Looking at how to communicate through colour and patterns to overcome language barriers
✨ Taking a further look into equality and diversity so I can make golf more inclusive

Professional growth never stands still.

✨ 4 weeks post-op update ✨
Basic physio has started to get the ankle moving again and I’m finally starting to get out and about a bit more – mostly pain free 🙌

Had a brilliant weekend at with my fellow OM’s. Couldn’t play this year but loved being out on the course in the buggy and stopping at the new halfway hut for a hot drink ☕️.

It was good catching up with friends old and new with plenty of laughs over a glass (or two) of wine 🍷 and of course the Saturday night flying snooker tradition which never disappoints 🎱.

Rounded off with a stunning Sunday sunset 🌅 over the course.

Here’s to more progress 💪

Two weeks post-ankle surgery 🦴🩼Hopefully that’s the last of the broken ankles! 🤞

As my surgeon said… now the hard work begins.
Recovery mode is ON: ⬆️ Leg elevated 🥗 Eating well 🛌 Prioritizing rest
☀️ Aiming for at least 5 mins of sunshine daily
Plus, tackling physio every day with:🦶 Happy toes, sad toes🦵 Leg lifts & holds↕️ Bending and extending of the leg

Long term goal: 🏌️‍♂️ Back on the golf course at a level I’m proud of💪 Back in the gym🙏 And learning to appreciate the small wins along the way

It’s going to be a long road — but I’ll get there. One step at a time. Patience is something I am going to need and find.

✨ What a July that was! Better late than never with this post…

July was a hectic month where I had the incredible opportunity to be at the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club just after being at The Open. Wales you were stunning (rainy day aside 🌧️⛳).

This event was special juggling multiple roles both coaching and inside the ropes while also spending time with the Top Tracer team learning firsthand how their technology works on the range with some of the best players in the world. The experience of being that close to world class golfers watching their swings and routines is something I’ll take forward into my own game and coaching practices. Beyond that working with an amazing bunch of PGA Professionals, catching up with friends and building new connections was invaluable.

I’ll admit… I turned into a bit of a fangirl at The Women’s Open but moments like these remind me why I love this sport, my job and this industry so much.

Now it’s time to reflect on what I’ve learned set new goals for the future (both personal and coaching) and take August as a much needed reset.

Here’s to recharging and coming back stronger in September! 💪

One for the wall 🖼️⛳

Got this year Ladies Open flag signed by some of my golfing idols and a few of the top 5 finishers from this year. It was lovely that some of the players stopped for a chat. Absolutely love it. ❤️

Huge thanks to everyone who helped me collect the signatures especially for getting Anna Nordqvist. Now it’s time to find a frame for it to go up in the wall. 🙌

The last two years have been tough with many setbacks with fitness, multiple broken ankles, illness, frustration with my weight, mobility and overall golf performance.

After breaking my ankle again in April and being told I’d need surgery if I ever wanted to play golf properly again. I knew something had to change. This was my turning point and motivation.

Two months ago I committed to restarting my health and fitness journey before surgery. I wanted to lose weight, rebuild my strength, improve my mobility and get back on track not just for my golf but for myself.

With the support of I was able to begin training even with a broken ankle. It was back to basics, slow progress, 1% gains and focusing on the small wins.
I am now two months into my journey:
✔️ Weight is starting to come off
✔️ Flexibility, mobility and strength is improving
✔️ Recovery base is now in place before surgery

Surgery is in August and then the real work begins.

I’m determined to come back stronger physically, mentally on and off the golf course. I am trying to change my mindset to chasing progress not perfection and learning to be proud of every step along the way.

Here’s to finding strength, confidence and joy one step at a time 💪🏼⛳️

Calamity Corner 16th Par 3.
What can you learn from some of the best golfers in the world?
They all play it differently….play your own game and don’t focus on everyone else.

Time to reflect on an unforgettable experience at The Open at Portrush. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️
Truly honoured to be part of a world class event steeped in history which in my opinion the best golfing event of the year.
I had the privilege of working in the SwingZone alongside a dedicated team of PGA Professionals delivering over 3,000+ golf lessons to players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. I personally delivered just over 200 lessons. It was a week full of unique moments and lifelong memories.
I was lucky to meet incredible people, made new friendships, reconnected with old faces and gained valuable insight from fellow PGA Pros on coaching styles and business practices.
An experience I’ll always be grateful for. Here's to growth, connection, and the love of the game. 🙌

Arrived at Portrush on Wednesday.
The golf course is looking fabulous, grandstands up and players arriving. It’s going to be an amazing week representing The PGA and working with an amazing group of professionals.

Please have a read of the article The PGA interviewed me for.

The PGA will play a key role at The Open Championship at Royal Portrush next week, with 24 PGA Members delivering free coaching sessions to spectators at The R&A’s Swingzone.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the R&A Swingzone delivered by PGA Members, a milestone that reflects a quarter-century of PGA commitment to growing the game through expert coaching.

Located in the heart of the Spectator Village, the R&A's Swingzone is one of The Open’s most popular fan engagement experiences, offering complimentary 15-minute golf lessons to visitors of all ages and skill levels.

Managed by The R&A and delivered by PGA Members, the sessions give both newcomers and experienced golfers the chance to work on their swing with Toptracer technology once again enhancing the coaching experience in the coaching bays.

As part of a renewed partnership, Scottish golf apparel brand Glenmuir will also return as official clothing partner, kitting out the coaching team throughout the week.
